My First Set of Two Toddler Pillow Cases Fits Pillows Sized 12" x 16", Cream

Purchased this set in the cream color and received them a few days ago. Where do I begin:/. First I will start out by saying they are not as described. The picture shows an envelope closing which is not the case (no pun intended) but rather a standard end closure. This is not a big deal to me, but just sayin'.... The second and more important thing is the fact that the material could not possibly be of poorer quality. Thin, thin, thin material that will tear even if you look at it too long!! The third thing, and more important still, is the very poor workmanship. Sewn with single-ply cotton thread, not mercerised, and only a single running stitch with no back stitch the whole length! Lastly, when I went to remove the crinkle-y label inside, because of the poor stitching about 4 inches of stitches came out! It is such a simple thing to make at home for less money and better quality, but I no longer have a sewing machine. So I had to repair by hand and extended the repair to about an inch on either side. If I had a machine I would have restiched the whole thing! (No wait, if I had a machine I wouldn't have purchased these!!). In view of all, the price is NOT justified even remotely! My advise is to save your money and look elsewhere. I cannot recommend these pillow cases and would leave a zero rating were I able but not given that option.

This should be NO STARS. First of, the description of these cases is size ... 12 x 16. I searched long and hard to find that size - most of the small travel/toddler cases are much larger but mine are the smaller ones. So here we go - Yea! A 12 x 16! They came today and I was shocked when I opened the package. 13" wide by 19" long, And the fabric is so very slick. Between being larger than they should be AND the slickness of the fabric, the pillows slide right out of them! As for fabric - If there is any cotton in it, I'll eat them for dinner, but I'll never put my face on one of them. And the color is "cream"? Nope. It's absolutely tan. There's quite a difference between those two hues.Triple strike out - larger size than stated, lousy fabric and wrong color.No way at all is this item as described. Cannot believe this case for any good reviews! I definitely wasted my money.

We've had these pillow cases for a couple weeks now. So far I'm pleased with the quality. I washed them prior to use and they made it through the wash ok. Two of the pillow cases have been laundered since the initial wash, they still look new.As of today, the only reason I'm giving only 3 stars is because the pillow cases just barely fit the pillow. This is the pillow my daughter has: A Little Pillow Company hypoallergenic toddler pillow (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009JV34RC/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1).I tried the Luvable Friends pillow cases (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003D3NVMK/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1) first, but the pillow stuck out about 1-1.5". These pillow cases seem like the best fit for my daughter's pillow, even though it's not a perfect fit.

They aren't 12X16. My pillows are 12X15 and these cases are twice the length of the pillow . I guess for the price they aren't meant to be soft, so no surprise they aren't. I've washed in hot water twice with baking soda and fabric softner, but it didn't make a great deal of difference, the fabric is just scratchy. I would not purchase again.

I'm really pleased with my purchase. I bought these for my 2 year old son's bedroom. I just wished they came in white. The off white, is more of a light light tan color, in my opinion. But it gets the job done. They wash and dry with no problem.

My sister sleeps with Baby pillows. Always has and she is turning 61 on 4/19. I ordered these covers for her birthday and they arrived yesterday. She loves them. Says they are very soft and the quality is very good. She even wants me to get a set for my mother who also sleeps with baby pillows. Guess I never got that bug and sleep with normal pillows. To each their own. Anyway, she says they are wonderful and she is very happy.

These little pillowcases are definitely plain vanilla but the quality is fine and they fit perfectly. It was extremely hard to find this size so these are a good deal both because they seem to be rare and because they seem durable.

I wish they were offered in white in the event that I would have to use bleach on them, but they are only offered in blue, pink or tan. The pillow cases I ordered were listed as "tan" but these seem to have a green tinge to them. They work to cover the pillows, but the color wasn't what I was expecting.
