easy, easy, easy
These sheets make packing and storing homemade burgers a breeze. I'm so glad I bought them. I cannot think about cutting squares of wax paper to use. These make the job wonderfully easy.

just too thin, melts on burgers
I love the press, but these papers are just too thin. I was making burgers yesterday & they were just melting onto the burgers like thin kleenex, when you try to peel them off they just come apart leaving you trying to pick little tiny pieced off the meat. This was happening within a minute or 2 of putting them between a few burgers.I'm returning what's left & finding some thicker ones.

Disintegrates!
Thawed the meat and this WAX paper turned into Kleenex and disintegrated while trying to remove...Not happy and product was returned..

Dave's Patty Pro Patty Paper
Very thin. Works but can often stick to the burger meat like wet tissue on a lawn. Hard to remove when this happens.

Papers stick
These papers work fine to protect the press when crushing the patties, although you need another set each time. We pressed about 6 dozen patties when hamburger was on sale a couple of months ago, and used a fresh set of papers on each side of each patty for freezing. Now, when we go to get the burgers out of the freezer, it is a process to get the paper off the patties which includes hot water and picking little pieces of the paper off each patty and it will not come off in an even sheet and will not come off without the hot water. We like the press, it did the job well, but will not get the papers again. The papers we have we will use for the pressing process. We are considering using regular wax paper next time or looking at other reusable plastic separators.

meh... too thin.
Probably ok for meat, but it is too thin for my math class activities. I need a less delicate paper. Also, the crease does not show well (which is necessary for the math activities I do).
