UniqDesign Breathable Shower Wrap Water Metal Ring Sling Carrier Infant Wrap Toddlers

So I'm a fairly seasoned baby-wearing mama. I have a couple wraps, carriers and RS. I bought this because my 2 month old calms down really well in the shower, but babies are sooooo slippery. Tried it for the first time tonight and it was soooo awesome. Got him a deep seat and he was so content. I was also able to nurse him in the sling in the shower! It will also be handy for swimming this summer. 10/10 would buy again, loveeeee it for what I use it for.

What a disappointment! The rings are not aluminum, but a cheap, metal craft ring that I'm sure has never been safety tested, especially for babywearing. See if you can get an answer about safety from this company who definitely isn't following even the basic safety laws of the US. (Ask them about the CPSIA and if they have done any testing) The rings are sewn to the sling by a weird x-box job that I've only ever seen on mei tai & soft structured baby carriers. Definitely not a comfy or safe sling shoulder option. The "instructions" are 1 page of small photos of a woman who has the baby already in the carrier, with no details about how to get to that point. If it weren't for YouTube and other baby sling makers who actually give good info, a new babywearer would not be able to use this properly. The photo on the "packaging" is an image stolen from an Australian based company and there are false claims of "award winning" and "as seen in" certain magazines. You get what you pay for, but I would not trust this made in China cheapie to keep my precious baby safe. (Yes, this review is almost word-for-word of my review of another brand of sling. They are duplicates, made in the same Chinese factory)

I bought this to use at the beach (in the water/on the beach itself) for my 6 month old. I have a decent amount of experience with ring slings but didn't want to spend a lot of money for something I wasn't sure I would use a lot. The rings on this sling are super small and are not really sewn in properly for ultimate security/ease of threading. I wasn't bothered by the attached bag like some others were. Mostly, I used this on the beach as a nursing cover because it was fairly light weight and breathable. I did manage to get it threaded once and used it in the water with my daughter. While not the most secure/comfortable sling, I was able to get a deep seat and she stayed in it for a bit while in the water with me. If you think you will really be using a sling at the beach/pool a lot and/or have other kids to chase after I would absolutely spend the $60 or so and buy from a more well known and better made brand. Same suggestion if you are new to slinging as well. If you want something cheap for a few potential uses and are fairly comfortable with RS, this is an ok product.

First time ever using a sling like this and I really like it. It dries quickly because it's mesh. Works as a nice cover when breastfeeding without either of us overheating. It's pretty easy to use, but doesn't tighten as easy as I thought/ would prefer. And you need it as tight as possible to feel secure, which happens to be really very tight around me 5 week olds legs. There's no way to put a newborn in it so that his/ her head is supported by itself- you'll need to keep your hand up.

I have one kid who loves the water and one who's not so hot on it, so I bought this for my 1.5yo daughter so I can still go in the water with my older child. It's lightweight, easy to put on and dries by the time we're ready to go home. I was worried the dark blue would heat up in the sun, but it stays cool all the same! I'm an avid babywearer and ring-sling user and I don't see too much difference between this and my everyday linen sling that I use at home. It was inexpensive, but worth every cent since we live near the beach.

Purchased for my dog to go on long hikes. It is breathable, adjustable and durable. I get made fun of for having it but its great to have if you have a small older dog that likes to hike or in case of an emergency to carry your dog off the trail. My dog weighs 17 pounds. Being able to adjust the wrap is very useful.

As a few others have noted, the rings are coated with a cheap metallic paint that is jagged and not smooth (will probably rust too). I didn't even try the sling because the sharp protrusions on the rings would have likely caused the mesh fabric to run or tear. The fabric itself was fine -- it's a mesh polyester material similar to basketball shorts -- and the color was a pretty light blue. It's too bad the rings are a single point of failure.

I LOVE this sling! It’s totally fine to use dry, I haven’t even used it in water yet. My favorite thing about it is how low profile it is. The bag it came in is attached to the sling so you can stuff it when you’re done and keep it compact and contained. It’s small enough I keep it in my diaper bag. I also love the mesh fabric for its breath ability, I got so hot in other slings I’ve used. I just ordered another one for my sister.There was confusion about plastic or metal rings in some other posts. I ordered mine March of 2018 and it has metal rings.
