Consistent readings
Kinda weird that the numbers would repeatedly go to max then to lowest reading 2 points at a time kinda fast, like it was calibrating. It would eventually settle on 0.00 then start over again before I could put it in the water to be tested. If I shook it it would stay long enough to test the water. I eventually broke the glass because the design does not prevent the cap from coming into contact with the glass. Clumsy me pushed the cap into the slots going to the glass.Pros...Consistent with the measurement of my tap water 8.17 every time.Cons: Difficult to stop the numbers from cycling all of the time. Can break glass if not careful when putting cap back on.

Warranty is a Just a Sham
Only worked for 9 months, readings are way off now and unit won't calibrate. Unit readings started wandering without warning giving me really disastrous results. User guide states there is a one year warranty, however there is no information in the documentation or any website to register a warranty claim. The company doesn't answer messages through Amazon either.

Great product!
I have been drinking more alkaline water. My gf mentioned that not all waters that say they are alkaline, really are. So I purchased this device and sure enough, first tested tap water to have a baseline and then tested different brands to find out what I thought was alkaline, really wasn't. This device really works. Would recommend!

Warning about product
Product appears very professional but meter never calibrated as per instructions with chemicals provided. I've had to compensate with knowledge on how much % it's off, but it's inconvenience is a factor, espec.if anyone else were to use it. Probably would not buy again. :-(

Great little item
Been using this everyday for over a week in my pool. Came calibrated (close enough for pool) out if the box. As we swam I could see the daily increase of PH. This allows me to keep my PH in the golden 7.4-7.6 range. So much easier than strips.If you are monitoring fish tank water I certainly would recommend calibrating unit as you need a higher degree of accuracy than my pool needs.

Worth it!
Does exactly what it needs to do. Calibration may be needed, but I took it right out of the box and started using it with no issue. Cross-checking PH balances between this and a fluid solution, it matches up great!

It works fine, it's a little cheesy feeling. I don't see this lasting long if it was being used daily but for a cheap meter for occasional use it works fine.

Not accurate!!
Have tried to calibrate three times and it has been off every time! Definitely recommend the tester that uses a screwdriver to calibrate, just got this one and my readings are within a tenth!!
