The title might be a tad misleading, i think it's a bit more advanced than the (absolute) beginner, but i still give it 5 stars for all the info it has. This book has some great techniques and you most certainly can learn from this book. The other book I ordered was better for me. I don't know if you can post what the other book is but I'm going to give it a try and see if they post this review. It was You can draw in 30 days. Very good book and gives you exercise to do which you actually progress and learn from. But this book is great too. So you can't really go wrong when learning how to draw. Just don't give up.
