No need additional drivers, No need download software.Attach stand base to the desk, insert stand and position as needed and tightened. The USB cord is long enough to have the mic position just about anywhere on a standard size desk. Overall for the money this is a great little mic and I'm very excited to get it as a means to record voiceovers, audio messages for church, and will even try it with my guitar and vocals for music recording. If you have the gain setting placed around 1/4 of the available gain, you can get surprisingly clean audio with very littler ambient noise. Use the arm, not tripod stand, and keep the mic 8-10" from your mouth. Nothing else to report.
