My only regret is not buying them sooner. Trying to use ordinary scissors in the kitchen is a false economy. Regular scissors are fine for opening plastic bags of freezer food and other packaging, but they don't do what good kitchen scissors will do when it's time to pick up a whole chicken and cut it up, or chop food over a skillet. Plan to wash these by hand, and do it carefully. Think about it; if it cuts through the bones of the animals your family and/or pets eat, it will cut through your own body as well. I haven't had an accident because I treat them respectfully and after I've washed and dried them, I return them to the convenient holster that comes with them. I keep them in the back of a drawer only I use, and I don't let little children use them at any time for anything. That said, these are excellent in terms of multiple uses. As the product description indicates, they come apart and this is great for cleaning as well.For the serious cook, strongly recommended!

Best scissors!! These scissors are so great. They not only function as scissors but also as a bottle opener, fish scaler, knife, screwdriver, and vegetable peeler!! The scissors also come apart easily so they can easily be cleaned. The scissors come in a very nice magnetic case. I keep the scissors in the case and stick them on my fridge. All my guests comment on the scissors and mention that they want a pair for themselves. I will definitely be buying more to keep as a spare.

Great design. They come apart like in the picture to take advantage of all the features. By them coming apart I think it makes it easier to clean them as well. All the features are overwhelming but better have them and not need them than need them and not have them I guess.

Good quality and I like the magnetic sheath

It would not cut raw chicken and even with my small hands (I am 5'3'' and 135 lbs.) the handle openings were too small for my hands.
