I’m Chinese I know what good salted eggs tastes like. I bought this brand and half of the eggs went bad and were really smelly and disgusting.

What a mistake. I thought these would be similar to the century old eggs. They are definitely salted. The package actually says low sodium. They are absolutely rank tasting with an abundance of salt. I spit it out and tossed them out.

Ignore the other review. The person was obviously looking for pidan (peen daen) and not red core. (Dumb people shouldn't write reviews if they didn't but what they wanted in the first place.) These have the salty flavor you would expect and the great texture of a duck egg. Great with traditional Chinese noodles or a Chinese twist on Japanese white miso ramen.
