For sound quality, I give these buds 3 stars. For everything else I use them for, I give them 5. Sound quality is average. I qualify that by saying I am used to listening to music through Bose computer speakers, Bose noise cancelling over the ear headphones, or Bose ear buds, all of which are substantially more expensive. I also have an HK Premium sound system in my car. That said, I was not expecting stellar sound from these and I didn't get it. But, the sound is good, fairly even. That is, no booming bass and no tinny highs. I realize that for some, bass that one feels in the toes is required. If that's the case for you, skip these. However, if you like decent full range sound, I can recommend these. But, where these really excel is in bike riding. I must have some weird ears because these are the only buds I have used that actually not only stay in my ears, but stay in place in my ears. Even while going over bumps at good speed, while sweating moderately, these stayed put. What's more, they are super comfortable. I was worried about the over the ear hooks because I wear glasses and also ride with a helmet. To my surprise, they are extremely comfortable. I mean, I don't even feel the hooks. Despite their design, they do not look or feel bulky. The wire is soft and, unlike many others, does not easily tangle. The wire can be worn in front or behind the neck. I wear it in front and it is short enough not to get hung up on things. It also has an adjustable wire stay. I did experience one negative: Wind noise while riding over 5 or 6 mph. However, when I switched to the small ear pieces from the mediums, the wind noise cut down significantly and they fit better, too. Although, simply by being in-ear they have some noise limiting ability, I could still hear what was going on around me, unless I blasted the music. For more stationary use, I definitely prefer higher sound quality. But for biking, the sound quality is pleasant enough and the other features are great.

Update:Received the USB cable and manual today. Plugged the ear buds in to charge, which they were either already charged, or mostly charge. Fairly simple to turn on and pair, once I had the instructions (LED indicator light is dual color, and only one button for main control).Music sounded great, bass was deep, treble wasn't bad. Just wish I could have had everything arrive at once.Original:How does a product leave the manufacturer, or their packager, without all contents?Poor quality control/quality assurance programs. If they let the product leave their hands without the necessary accessories, what else are they missing? Is it poorly assembled? Bad plastic parts? All this is swimming through my mind as my unused ear buds sit there, waiting for a USB cable to arrive. Hard to use the ear buds then without the "easy to understand user manual is included with every order, which describes, in detail, how to use the earphone headset". Would love to review the ear buds themselves, can't do that yet. No power and no instructions (I am a stickler for strict procedural compliance).The box is a poor OEM item box with a simple white label slapped on the back. Nothing holding the items securing within that product box.

Pros: Overall, very good sound reproduction, including bass. Appear to be well constructed, but I've only had them for a week or so. Pairs quickly and stays on your head when working out (lying down) or when jogging. Although they say workable distance is "about 10 meters" I've tested them indoors and reached 75 feet in a straight line, unobstructed path.Cons: No instructions were included, no company information listed on Amazon, no website, and "Warranty & Support" link on their page on Amazon gives no info. I had to contact Amazon customer support to finally reach Locustek, who sent me a pdf of instructions and, although the instructions offer a 1 year warranty, there is NO contact information on the instructions. You'll have to go through Amazon customer service to find their information.A Locustek rep said they were a new company and were still working on things, so four stars overall - great audio quality and build. On support I'd give them two stars. They can fix this pretty easily and hope they do .. soon, because they've got quite a good product on their hands. Then I'd up it to five stars.

Well these are definitely a waste of money. First off the sound is ok at best kind of muffled. Second, they only work well when you are still, such as sitting or driving. If you are working out the cut in and out and don't stay connected. Even when just walking as in mowing and you have your phone on your hip it is still spotty. So I got pretty frustrated with them and put them in a drawer and used my iPhone headphones. Well today I go get them out to use with my iPhone 7 and notice that there is a plastic peace missing, so much for the water proof. Save your money and don't by these. I have had them so long I don't know if I can get my money back but may try.

These are my third attempt at wearing bluetooth headphones, and so far they are clearly best. The first pair I tried (can't recall the brand, but it's logo was a sasquatch) kept falling out and then suddenly just stopped working after a few months. The second, Jabra Step, fit better but still slipped a little when I got really sweaty; I was pretty happy with them until they stopped holding a charge after about 8 months.The Locusteks appeared a little flimsy at first, and I was concerned that they would just keep falling out. I couldn't have been more wrong! I a lot of sprinting, stairs, and jumproping for cardio, and these headphones hardly budge! Very impressed with them so far. When I jog a couple miles and am covered in sweat, they still stay in my ears perfectly. My only complaint so far, and it's not really a complaint, is that the main button is located on the opposite side of the earbud, so I have to essentially press the bud further into my ear to turn off and on. I'm sure this is just my unfamiliarity with the headphones, however, as I've only had them about a week.
