The only issue I had was that the packaging was so damaged that, both products were loose. (i.e. is it truly 'magician's invisible'?)** A: This is magician’s invisible and can be used in bright light without a problem. It is quite strong and works wonderfully for its intended purpose. **Q: The image shows 25 ft per reel but the some show 40 ft(and description says 40, so what do you get???** A: My package came with 2 spools with 40ft of thread on each of them. **Q: Can I use this thread without a reel? (Can I just pull a piece off and cut a length I need?) If not, can this thread be bought without the spool?** A: Yes you can pull it out, break it, knot it or use it as a single length with magician's wax on one or both ends. Same company makes a fantastic product called LOOPS that you actually wear on your wrist like a watchband that's invisible and ready to use all day. Suggest you get that as tying knots in this tread is not for the faint of heart or anyone over the age of about 10 as you need some killer eyes . . . . and hands . . . . I hope this helps you.
