Love the idea. Poorly executed. We had to modify because it leaves too much space in the center of the box between the little frames and the bees want to build comb there. Made a huge mess

I love my Utah box'sI have all 3 modifications of this box and love them allI have the 1/4 box hive also called a "Utah hive" I used it to catch a swarm and they filled it out beautifully in 2 weeks ;)I then moved them into 2 long boxes (that together sit on a regular langstroth box) they then filled the other box then move up to the next box .. It was a great transition to the hive without overwhelming the bees!!And my 26 frame box was great!! I just set it on top of the 2 bottom boxes and I was SO EXCITED to harvest my honey this year!! I put a bee separater on 2 days before my harvest, the day of the harvest i came and took the box right off. Took it in the kitchen .. Pulled each frame cut the edges it popped out easy and I wanted to vaccume seal my honey so I did .. Took me a whole 30 mins to "extract" package and seal my whole box ;) no pain in the butt spinner, with honey everywhere and cleaning 100 thingsI am a single mom of 2 and I use these hives for my daughter and my seasonal allergies and this has been amazing for my needs !!!

I bought several Eco Bee Box or Utah Hive as they are called and what I got was absolute junk! The hives were suppose to be mediums but I was sent shallows plus there is no way these would hold bees. One side was longer than the other so they would not stack good, boards had missing knot holes, warped and cracked. I contacted the owner Albert Chubak and he ask me to return them. I did as he requested and that was the last I heard from him. He will not answer calls or text and he refuses to refund my money even after I returned his junk hives. I returned everything March 14th an still have not been able to contact anyone regarding my refund.

I have 8 of the half sized version of this comb box in my apiary. I LOVE them. They are so versatile and no extracting mess. I use them for raising queens and swarm calls. I can't lift a full deep super anymore but these are easy to move around. They are very well built and because they are made out of cedar they handle the weather much better than pine boxes. I have the locking clips and observation windows in 2 of the boxes and my wife takes them to schools to give presentations about honey bees. Albert is a very nice man so I am not sure what the first review is all about. I guess you can't please everyone.

I have 2 of the mini hives and think they are fantastic! As a new bee keeper, it is a great way to start my new hobby. The size is smaller than a standard hive and allows me to learn on a smaller scale. They are also the perfect size for queen rearing as I get further along in the hobby. I have found the service Al provides his customers as top notch as well. He is readily available and goes the extra mile to make sure he not only provides the tools to be successful, but also the support. I highly recommend him and his products.

Very very happy with my EBB purchases. I've begun switching all of my supers to EBB plus purchasing EBB Mini Hives for queen rearing and getting my friends and family into responsible beekeeping. Excellent customer service and overall, I couldn't be happier with the quality. I wanted to chime back in a year later and reaffirm that the EBBs are fantastic. The mini hives, much to my surprise, have made it through the winter (thus far). Keep it up Eco Bee!

I have several of the Eco Bee Box product line includeng thier innovative hive boxes. The corner brackets are unbeatable for durability in all weather. The sizes are compatible with my current Langstroths. As a novice beekeeper still learning the ropes, I have been grateful for their products. This new design which allows for greater modularity is certain to effect a change in how beekeepers think about hives, honey and hive management. I highly recommend them.

I run an apiary of 100 hives and every box is made with Eco Bee Box brackets. There is nothing on the market that compares for durability and function. In their years of service being shipped, stacked, abused and pried against with hive tools I have yet to break a single frame rest. I use the comb box for comb honey which pay for themselves in the first harvest. I also use the 1/4 size mini hives to breed queens. Awesome customer service and an innovative product. I won't use anything else.
