I have actively been looking for something like this for a long time, and had been unable to find one. I bought two of them because they are listed as being able to hold about 30 each. I am very happy with this product, it is simple and does the job very well; I like the fact that there are tracks rather than just shelves to hold the trains in place, they are the same as the wooden railway tracks so it matches very well and looks nice hanging next to his table (and I also like the idea listed that it would work as a display even after the child has grown up). It is light, which is a good thing, because you don't need to be afraid of it falling with all the trains on it. Easy for little hands to take the trains off and put them back on by themselves if you hang it low. My only complaint is that while, for me, its simplicity is on of its selling points, the price is quite high since the materials are not very expensive and I'm sure it is very easy to produce. However, I was not able to find anything analogous to this product and so was glad to spend the money to buy them (and still am)--but someone whose child is not such a train freak as mine may not. If they were sold for something more like $30 I think that that would be reasonable. Overall, I am quite happy with it, and so is my son; I plan to be using them for at least the next few years while he is into Thomas, and then later just hang them higher as a piece of art in his room!

my dad purchased this for my train obsessed son. Previously we put our trains in a bin under the train table, which was fine but having them organized and displayed on the wall of the playroom has been fun! It does have hooks on the back for easy hanging but I actually attached this to the wall with strong command strips and its held up just fine.

This has been a perfect addition to our train playset. My little one has been great about putting his trains away and loves arranging them on it so that he can see which ones he would like to play with.

Absolutely perfect. Holds about 30 to 40 trains and all brands (thomas, ikea, Melissa and doug, etc) fit. Easy to hang on the wall. My son loves being able to see all his trains. It looked just like the picture. Would recommend to anyone.

I ordered 5 for my sons playroom to hold his Thomas the trains. Perfect!! I've hung the shelves low so he is able to reach the trains he wants and return them after playing!!!
