A very “packable” jacket may fit in the pack but definitely not a standard jacket; don’t plan on packing extra clothes in this beyond a pair of socks. This pack has a chest strap, an added waist strap would be nice but it’s pretty stable without it. My 3yr old nephew then guilted me into getting one for him. Its a little big but it works and we only do very short hikes when he is with us. I would say its probably meant for kids 4-10. **Q: is the bladder removable?** A: It's removable but it's a colossal pain because of how tight the opening is compared to other Camelbaks. **Q: Can u put a new mouth peice on it** A: I believe that I made sure it indicated it was replaceable, tho we have not used them much. They are small, but my reason for getting them was primarily to get the kids carrying more of their own water at outings like Desert Museum and the Zoo, Also easy access to hydration was a plus. **Q: how big do the arm straps go? could someone extend them to the max and measure the length?** A: Fully extended the straps are 26", plus the part of the backpack they attach to is 9". The total opening for your arm & shoulder is 35".
