Great product
Much better quality and sound than the cheaper brand with the "firecracker" on the box. Just enough rumble to sound healthy without annoying your neighbors. These also sound great on small displacement engines, great flow without sounding like an angry bee.

My New Favorite Muffler
I’m a big Thrush Turbo muffler guy, but I’ve been converted into a Super Turbo guy now. I wanted something g that still flowed pretty well, but I didn’t want a loud and drony exhaust. This one fit the bill and worked out great. I installed it on my 2016 Chevy Colorado and it sounds great! Deep idle and no drone at highway speeds. I did keep the stock resonator on for context, but still recommend this muffler.

Classic Sonic Turbo Sound and Performance
For those who remember and like the Cyclone Sonic Turbo mufflers of the 1980’s, get these Super Turbos. They are the same basic mufflers. Give excellent performance with a deep classic turbo muffler sound. Not loud at all. And not as tiny and hollow as Flowmaster type chambered mufflers. Confirmation these are the same as Sonic Turbos can be validated from videos by David Vizard (who partially developed the Sonic Turbo) and reviewing the patents. Architecture of mufflers internally is nearly identical.

Deeper rumble on VTEC 05 Civic
I haven’t had it for a long time, so I can’t really comment on longevity (it is very affordable so I can’t complain). However, as of a couple weeks this product has been perfect. I paired this muffler with the 1141 vibrant quite resonator and it has been quite since. I have an aftermarket header and 2.5” piping and this has been awesome. A little louder than stock but not wake your neighbors up loud. It gets loud when you floor it while also getting rid of that tinny civic sound. It hasn’t seemed to hinder the little speed my stock vtec civic has. I would 100% suggest this muffler as I was even surprised I could get a civic to sound a little deeper and not raspy. Also I had to slant the muffler to get it to fit under my car but I think it looks unique so that didn’t discourage me. It is also a little heavy but let’s not kid ourselves, if you’re not track racing or turboing your civic it’s going to be slow with or without this mufflers added weight.

well built
The muffler I replace was the same as this one. The one I took off was 20" long this one is 14". The 14" one is louder when you are accelerating but somewhat quiet when you are you are cruising.

dynomax super turbo
I had flowmaster 40 series mufflers. The volume and "airy" higher pitch tone was awesome, no problems whatsoever. Even inside the car, normal conversation and stereo volume was great, BUT between 1800-2300 rpm (~50-64mph) the inside of the car developed a loud resonance (drone). It was not unbareable, but it was definitely disappointing since it was broad range of speed and exactly where I drive 90% of the time. The Dynomax Super Turbos produce an equally nice volume and tone (albeit different), the interior noise level has no surprises at any rpm, and conversation and music volume levels are where they should be in a restored muscle car. I did order a larger 2.5" diameter muffler to mate to my 2.25" system to insure there was no flow restriction. Flow test data from multiple non-related sources indicate the Super Turbo to be a very "flow capable" muffler; better than the flowmasters. ITs not always about flow becuase the whole engine combination is involved, but regardless, I do not want a more restrictive exhaust than what I swapped from. My only problem was the experimentation to get to this point was considerably more expensive than it should have been. Thats not a dynomax muffler issue, but rather the troubleshooting of the old system prior to getting the dynomax mufflers. The drawbacks I have with this style of muffler is the obvious shorter life than a chambered muffler with no packing, and loss of the flowmaster sound (love it or hate it- I really like it). The droneless interior convert makes it work it, and the sound is not a detriment. It has all the idle volume and high rpm volume and tone that a performance car and exh system should have, but it is not the same tone as flowmasters.Try some youtube videos of similar cars to get an idea. Its is unlikely yours will sound identical, but the trends will be similar.

Non restricted with low drone.
Perfect fit with my TTI exhaust and very good price. Quiet compared to my expectations.

Started out well but now, not so good
Bought two of these to go on my 1970 Monte Carlo. Prior to putting these on the car was WAY to loud. Driving the car any distance would drive me nuts. After removing those mufflers & replacing with these it's unbelievable the difference they made. It's now fun to drive again. At idle the car almost sounds stock but press down on the gas & the car comes alive & sounds agressive.UPDATE, 10/1/2022 That fun to drive again feeling is gone. Five months & less that 1,000 miles the cars exhaust noise is again starting to get annoying. Slowly over the past five months the car has gone from very mild noise to loud. Not sure how or why but be aware there sound level will change & get louder & louder.

Classic muscle car sound
Super turbos have become my go to muffler over the years. They just have that nice mellow idle, and just enough bark when you get on the gas that is music to my ears. Keep up the great work Dynomax!

over all glad I relocated the stock from the back to under ...
I put this muffler under my 2010 Jeep Wrangler unlimited, It is not designed to fit under there but my evap has been relocated so there is plenty of room for it, as for the sound it is just a bit louder then stock so it's not loud at all. over all glad I relocated the stock from the back to under with this muffler.

Food value.
If you want quiet this is for you. We shall see how long that lasts. Got two and one weighs half what he first one does. Not sure what they did differently inside but they sound virtually indentical.
