Manefish Fly Box - Slim Fly Fishing Box

This is a very well made fly box with a surprising amount space for how slim it is. The outside of the box has small ridges running parallel to the edges which add some grip to it when handling. The water tight seal is great and the gasket can be easily removed for cleaning. I like the push button opening mechanism compared to other type of latches. I have always steered towards the triangle cut foam and this one fits the bill with quality. I'd say this is my new favorite alongside my orvis fly box.

This is a nice box but doesnt look like it will stant up to the test of time. The clip the closes it is plastic and spring loaded. Each time you open or close it the plastic rubs the latch. Eventually that is going to be the first point of failure.Also not waterproof.

Great fly box! Very slim about the size of a smartphone. Good solid foam that holds flies in place tightly. My only concern is the locking mechanism that seems to be held together with two very cheap springs. They should switch to a clasp lock instead of what is in place. Other than that, great product.

Bought two of these for streamers, and as far as holding those flies well, they do a good job. Also like the size as they aren't bulky like so many boxes. I would definitely give them a higher rating except for the latch - it just doesn't hold very well and the box comes open by itself all the time. I'm now keeping large rubber bands around them so they don't open completely resulting in the loss of flies.

Very slim, attractive fly box for a great price. I'm tying a few dozen flies to send out to some friends in Utah and wanted to package them in a fly box. I like the design and construction of this box, perfect for my needs. Would recommend this box without reservations.

The latch on this does not lock properly. The latch barely catches when shut... and it pops open without even pushing on the button. I would bet it would open with the slightest movement or bump inside my vest pocket.

Such an awesome item to receive in the mail! It's nice and thin so it's easy to pack or carry on you, and it has a nice modern design to it. I can't wait to get out on the water, there's lots to catch here in Florida. I noticed the foam is very high quality also, nice and firm so it doesn't lose grip. I might even order a couple more, they would make great stocking stuffers for the Holidays right around the corner! 5 stars, wonderful product!!

Fair price for the box, the only problem is the latch could use some improvement. Often when I would reach in my pack, the box would be open.
