Stphane Ronget, the leader of Metropolitan Jazz affair is back with his project The Rongetz Foundation. This time he recorded the album in NYC with some of the best East coast musicians, including tenor saxophonist David Schnitter, drummer Jerome Jennings, bassist Chris Smith and flautist Carlos Jimenez. Vocals on four of the tracks are performed by Saunders Sermon, one of the leading trombonists on the hip-hop and soul scene, who has recorded and played with the likes of Jay Z, Maxwell, 50 Cent and Jill Scott.
