Yes this is information that I have been trying to find for a long time.
This bookk has answered a lot questions that I have had for long time. The chapter on Reverse alignment was reallyinformatived. I have tried several formula for the reverse dial indicating but none kof them is as simple as what Tommymakes it. Thanks again Tommy.Jim.

Comprehensive and written in easy to understand terms for non-millwrights.

The only book you need to align.
If you are a mechanic and have to align machines, do not buy other books, none has the formulas that this book contains, and you have examples, a lot of sweet and swear will be prevented in the process of alignment with this book.

Must Have
This book has about every formula pertaining to alignment you could ever want. It also has a very comprehensive understanding of how to complete a successful alingment illustrated between the covers.

Millwrights Guide to Motor Pump Alignment
Over all there is a lot of good information in this book. It has formulas to calculate the amout of movement needed to bring the equipment into proper alignment in the shortest manor than just guessing the moves. One thing that make it a little confusing is that a majority of the diagrams are labled as Fig 1( until you get used to reading his style).
