I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and it ruined her brushes!!! Very unhappy if it wouldn’t be required I would give it zero star!!!

I try to read the descriptions carefully but I missed this fact if it is listed. The types of brushes that can be washed in this cleaner are limited. I would go to the website for this product and determine based on their guidlelines if your brushes will work in the cleaner. I have 11 brushes. Of those, 1 is too short to fit the machine, 3 are 3D brushes, and another 4 are two sided brushes. That means that out of the 11 brushes I can wash only 3 in the machine. Since a makeup brush washer has limited use to begin with, not being able to accommodate common styles of brushes limits the appliance's usefulness further. So it's use becomes a small subset of a small subset. Also while it is stated in the Q&A section, the cleaning solution is not included--not even a sample to try with your new machine. So unless you order the cleaning solution with the machine you have no way to test it for perfromance. All in all this was a disappointment to me and would not likely make the purchase if I had known more about it.

I bought this as a gift. By the time it was given and my daughter used it, the 14-day refund was certainly over, as was the Amazon 30-day. So much for buying early. The machine is too large and bulky and her larger brushes don't fit. The product doesn't function consistently. Doesn't actually clean the brushes, and its a pain to insert and remove the brushes, took me longer to insert the brushes into the machine than it would've taken me to wash 6 brushes by hand. I wouldn't reccommend this device.

I would give 0 stars to this brush cleaner but I can’t. I liked it the first month I had it. I used it once a week to clean my brushes, then the rotating part stopped working.I always followed the instructions that are in the website (since it comes without them) and used their lilumia cleaner, I tried contacting Lilumia customer service a couple of times and they just ignore my emails and tweets, it’s very disappointing that this thing costs so much and it stops working as soon as the return window closes, so please DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY IN THIS!

I actually really loved this product. I wear lots of makeup so my brushes need to be cleaned on a pretty regular basis. I know a lot of the reviews said that it doesn't work that well, but I had zero issues. If you follow the instructions/Google the instructional "first use" video it's pretty cut and dry and simple to use. I subscribe to ipsy and I have tons of brushes and I use them all- this cut my cleaning time down by half if not more...which is amazing for someone who doesn't have a lot of extra time- this has helped my brushes stay cleaner and more sanitary like I need them to be simply because of the convenience. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with their cleaner. For the price it would be nice to at least get a smaller sample size so you can use the product immediately. :)

I love my brush cleaner! I use it twice a week and it has my brushes looking and smelling like new after every wash. I gave it four stars bc I didn't like that you had to go online and watch a video for the instructions instead of having a manual in the box with the product! Other then that, I love my Mother's Day gift!

Review from my MUA partner at the time: not effective, hard to get brushes all vertically aligned, way too few brushes can be cleaned at once, and everything was cumbersome. Bottom line: would not use.
