Pair of Tiki Indoor/Outdoor 6.5" 2-Way Stereo Speakers - All Weather Resistant

Looks amazing! Sounds decent for stylized outdoor speakers at this price range. If you are about the sound quality, you could buy better weather resistant boring looking speakers for less. For my needs (a tiki themed pool deck) I couldn't have asked for better. They provide a good ambient sound, fit right in.I've had them for 2 years the sun and weather has bleached and weathered them into looking like they are real tiki statutes from back in the day. I get tons of complements on them every time I have a party.

I previously had a couple larger speakers that looked like rocks and sat on the ground but since I did some landscaping and added a wooden fence to hide the pool filter & AC unit, I couldn't find a space for them. These Tiki speakers look great mounted on the fence but they do sound comparatively tinny so I've left the rock speakers connected behind the fence to act sort of as a poor mans subwoofer.I just put them away for the winter and was surprised to find the Tiki speakers with about 2-3 inches of water sitting in the bottom! Probably because of this the magnets on the speakers have corrosion on them. I see a plastic tube that runs from the speaker enclosure on the front to a drain hole in the back. I plan to disassemble them further to see why that does not seem to be working. I was going to contact the manufacturer but I have not been able to locate info on that.

The speakers sound terrible. I had to return them twice because one speaker didn't work and the second time the tiki was damaged. I just replaced the speakers with different speakers and they sound WAY better. The Tiki design is cool but the speakers are garbage. Don't buy them unless you don't mind changing out the speakers.

Highs are not very crisp and the bass is not very deep. Speakers are ok at low levels in the background while you are talking, but if you want to crank them up they are not the best..

For what I paid, I was really impressed with the sound it pumps out. Nice highs and good bass. I was thinking they'd sound like $10 computer speakers and they sound much more expensive and look great on my patio. I've had them 6 months.

So if you're an audiophile these speakers won't blow you away by any means but unless you you want to pay $500 for the best outdoor speakers there is.. Klipsch, then these work great at lower expectations. I have these in a an outdoor flower round that sirs just outside my lanai and faces into the hot tub / pool area and they're tied into my overhead speakers inside the lanai. The combination works great and adds depth so it does sound richer than as a standalone I'm sure. Regardless, they've been outside in the Florida sun, rain and even a hurricane and as one review mentioned,the color has faded and patinaed but they still jam on, impervious. For the money, great fun looking option in my opinion.

Got them broke and they would not take them back.

Tinny sound at lower volumes, have to crank the sound up more then I'd like for a fuller range sound.
