Trudeau Home Presence Jar Opener

Funny how tools eventually find more than one use in their lifetime. This "jar opener" is an excellent example of wit or without. It's possible the focus belt broke on one's focus puller and this idea happened out of necessity. A few notes. . . besides the "now increased value" of this kitchen tool in the production biz, you should be aware that all that glitters is not gold. It's colorful, yes, but it's main attraction falls short of the many reviews I scoured before my purchase. If you want the gripping action to remain constant, be ready to use a tiny zip-tie or twisty directly behind the sliding collar. The tension on mine will not remain constant without this additional help. Simply push the collar as close as possible to the lens to prevent the teeth from slipping, then tighten or twist your "tension lock" directly behind (the side furthest from the lens) the collar and PRESTO!! Now start exercising that pinky selected to do the focusing.

This product does not grip the jars well enough to assist with opening them. There is to much slipping and not enough opening!
