Amazing. . . . .
I started using this program a few days ago and already I feel better. I've been making unhealthy eating choices for awhile and have watched my waist expand with dread. I'm very clear on the uselessness of changing behavior without also changing the thought patterns and attitudes that cause it, which is why I find this kind of program so useful and helpful. I knew nothing was going to make any difference until I made the decision for change and felt motivated. And that's where Dr. David Illig comes in. He's right on time!The program is soothing, relaxing and comforting. As you listen you realize that you are doing something very loving for yourself. When I hear Dr. Illig's voice I am filled with a sense of trust. This allows me to benefit more, I am sure, from the subliminal suggestions and the hypnosis. They penetrate more deeply.I would definitely recommend this program to anyone who thinks they can use some encouragement, positive reinforcement and friendly, gentle motivation. As someone who understands the awesome power of the mind, I honestly feel it's going to make all the difference for me. As I write this I am just over 200 pounds (about 20 pounds over where I should be/would like to be.) I will update this review in the future so I can report my results.Update 4-17-19So it's been more than two weeks since I started using this program. I listen to the "Awake" session every day during my morning walk. I have not weighed myself but I definitely have noticed a change in my eating and exercise habits. I am thinking about my food choices and not grabbing for the junk so much, my portions are smaller and I'm really getting into moving and can feel the results. I'm getting stronger and I have fewer aches, pains and stiffness. My pants are looser in the seat!This is right for me: support, encouragement and affirmation. Kind wisdom. The voice is very soothing and friendly. I really feel I have been comforted after listening. I can see where this kind of "healthy programming" can make all the difference between success and failure in weight-loss and fitness. If I'm not anxious, and if I feel that my goals are not only possible but inevitable, then I am motivated and am not going to engage in unhealthy eating habits!I definitely recommend this program!
