Elastomer coating provides superior weather and UV resistance, flexibility, adhesion and ease of application. Excellent protective elastomeric barrier for extending the life of your rubber roof membrane. Fire retardant. The Duraself Rubber Roof Coating System is a two part, commercial grade system from Carlisle Syntec that combines a primer/cleaner necessary for proper roof preparation and an acrylic coating that provides an excellent protective barrier. Application: All surfaces must be clean and free of residue or loose particles, degraded substrate, grease, oil, dirt, or other contaminates. Surfaces shall be completely dry and frost free before coating. Deteriorated or damaged substrates shall be repaired or replaced. Duraself acrylic coating shall be applied in a rate of 1 gallon per 160-180 sq. ft per to the substance by short nap roller. Actual gallons required will depend on the type of surface and texture, method of application, and weather conditions at the time of application. All surfaces must be uniformly coated and free from voids, pinholes, or blisters. Preparation: Thoroughly mix the contents for a minimum of 15 minutes prior to application. Duraself acrylic coating may be applied by short nap roller or brush. Clean equipment with water and a universal cleaner. Caution: CAN CAUSE IRRITATION OF NOSE, THROAT AND LUNGS; CAN CAUSE NAUSEA AND HEADACHE. Prolonged or repeated breathing of vapor or spray mist may be harmful. Use a respirator for protection from vapor or spray mist. Avoid eye and skin contact. Do not take internally. Wash thoroughly after handling and before eating or smoking. Keep container closed when not in use.
