This is a good looking, easy to use and quiet Diffuser. In the past I have tried other diffusers from other companies but ended up returning them. This one is a keeper. Here are a few of my reasons for liking this 'Alpha Aroma Best': (BTW - I do not represent the company, and they have given me nothing for my review.)I have tried several other diffusers from other companies, only to return them. The stream of scent in the others only went out and down to the floor. However with this 'Alpha Aroma Best' Diffuser the stream of scent goes up into the room. The fan is very quiet with almost no discernible noise. I like the feel of the diffuser's soft exterior coating because it is not the usual hard cold-to-the touch plastic. The black matches with everything in my room so it does not stand out as being a foreign object. The black exterior actually makes it look more eloquent than what the other products I have tested that are plastic. The cord is an excellent long length. The settings button is very easy to use. I also like that it will automatically turn itself off when the liquid has been used up. This gives me confidence that I will not return to find a problem. Lastly, it is very easy to fill and clean. The liquid container shows a line indicating when you should stop adding liquid.This winter when the building is closed up and normal room odors usually accumulate, I will not be ashamed because this diffuser will be adding fragrance to the room.YES, with hesitation I would recommend this "Alpha Aroma Best" essential Oil Diffuser.PS. My wife upon review of what I have just written said I should add that it uses very little oil to do the job, and that the button has two settings - on and intermittent.HERE IS THE PROBLEM - where the electrical cord mates with the diffuser, it corrodes such that after 14 months I am no longer are able to power the unit and it is essentially a throwaway item. Think of it this way, 'Is the price worth only 14 months of use?'

I received this promptly and was very pleased with the look and style. My favorite feature is that there are no color-changing LED lights; since I don't live in a disco nor plan on getting stoned and "look at all the colors, man!" anytime soon, the always-on, color LED and/or color-changing feature of many diffusers is completely lost on me. In fact, I find it truly annoying. But this one has no constant light at all. There is a small blue light on the on/off button that comes on when you turn the unit on. After a few seconds, it turns off so it doesn't disturb my sleep. The same on/off button is used to change from Constant to Intermittant (30 sec on, 30 sec off, which gives you a longer operating time); hold the on/off button down for 3 seconds, the light changes from blue to red, and you've changed to Intermittant mode. After a few seconds, the red light goes off. So no matter which mode I'm using, there no annoying light to interfere with my sleep. The unit is also very quiet - also helpful for falling asleep undisturbed.The unit is not big, fits very nicely on my nightstand, and the rubberized outside means it's not going to slip out of my grasp when I refill it. I wish it held more water for longer run time in Constant mode, and I wish it functioned better as a humidifier (the water fill line is at 140 ml, which isn't going to appreciably change humidity unless you're in a small closet). Hence the 4 stars rather than 5. But all in all, I'm very satisfied and don't hesitate to recommend this for any non-disco-goer who isn't fascinated by watching colors change. If you want to sleep without noise or lights of any color, this is the unit for you.

My review is completely impartial, the way a review should be.I wanted to try a diffuser after seeing and smelling one at a friend's house. 99% of the diffusers I found had lights, bells or whistles on them, and were visually unattractive. Why? Is it so hard to make a diffuser that just does what it should? This one seemed simple, clean and modern compared to the rest, and was a reasonable price. It has a nice matte rubber finish on the outside. It isn't a huge tank but it lasts through at least a three hour cycle. The footprint is small, and it's fairly unobtrusive, so it would be easy to hide behind something on a tabletop, especially a dark colored table or bookshelf. I placed the diffuser in a bedroom and left it on intermittent for about an hour. The scent easily spread into other parts of the home after that short period of time. We have been using it for about a week with great results. I plan on ordering a second one for the living areas of the house because I like this one so much. I did follow the advice of many other reviewers and got high quality essential oils.12/13/16 Update: both diffusers still going strong. I noticed that after a several weeks the scent output was not quite as strong. I did some research online and came across some different cleaning methods. The instructions for this diffuser recommend wiping it out with a soft cloth and mild detergent, and using a cotton swab and alcohol to wipe the oscillator plate. That didn't seem to be doing a thorough job. I decided to try another method: fill the diffuser with enough alcohol to cover the bottom and run for about 2 minutes, dump the alcohol, then wipe and air dry. That did the trick! I do that once a week, and both work like new all the time. But please note, that is not what the instructions say to do. I was willing to try it and risk voiding the warranty, so if you want to adopt that method, you are on your own. Maybe the manufacturer will do some tests of their own and update if they find it more efficient and safe.Update 8/1/17: I love this diffuser. I finally figured out a place to put one in the bathroom where I keep a litter box so I'm back to buy a third one. But it's not available anymore, except as a used item. NOOOOOOOO! Please stock this item again!!!!!

This is my first diffuser so I can't offer comparison but I am very pleased with this item.I wanted something small and black to go on my bedside table whichthis does perfectly.It has two modes, constant and intermittent the little power light goes off after a few seconds as well which is a nice touch so it's not creating light in my room.Silent? Almost you can hear the water which is not great if running water makes you need the loo all the time! There is a slight hum like a fridge would make but much less, my ears are exceptionally good which I will not complain about but it does mean I can hear the slight noise this does make, however I decided to focus on it instead of trying to block it out when trying to sleep and it actually helps keep my mind off everything else from the day. I brought it to aid sleep and use at night so it had helped there.I have also used it in the living room and guest have commented that I have a nice smell to the room which is nice. When people are talking in a room you don't notice that this little gem is working away.On constant it will run for 4 hours and 8 hours on intermittent function if there is enough water in situ. It switches itself off at the max time or if water runs out which is great as I was worried about leaving it on when I went to sleep.There is a water fill line and a guide to poor water out from one side only I guess to protect the mechanism so do take note of that.Size,I can hold it in one hand, it is lightweight, about the height of the average tea mug and slightly wider. (I'm sure more precise measurements are in the description!)I just hope it keeps working for a long time if I have any issues I will update.

Received the diffuser today, read all the reviews on Amazon prior to purchase.- I like that its black in color and not the wood grain type or alien shape ship looking diffuser. This was the main selling point for me.- The mist dispersement is nice, very strong and was instant.- The review from most buyers said that the fan was quiet. The fan on the Alpha Aroma diffuser isn't loud, please don't get me wrong, but it's not dead quiet either. It sounds equally the same as my other diffuser's fan.- Some people say the diffuser is tiny in size, for 160mL capacity diffuser it's almost the same size in diameter and slightly shorter in height than my 300mL Etekcity LED oil diffuser. Almost the same size with half the water tank capacity... that's not really 'small'.- The top half of the lid of the Alpha Aroma diffuser just sits on top of the bottom half. No twisting required, so you have to be careful with any bumps against the table. I feel iffy about this, I get you can't twist it because of how it's designed but seems flawed.- I bought this diffuser at $54.99CAD, this was the main reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. You can buy a 500mL diffuser for $40CAD, I paid the extra for a nice diffuser. I do believe that this diffuser is nice, but perhaps not justifiable for its price after receiving and using it in person.

don't bother with this its a waste of money!!! I have given it a week to work and its useless.Half the time it doesn't steam at all.The rubber on the outside is coming off. When it does decide to steam you get no scent from the oils put in it so you have to use more.For those that have working ones they are lucky. When I bought this I was looking for one that gave out no light so I was glad about the fact this doesn't but that is the only good thing about it. **EDITING** I have to give credit where credits due. The seller has been fantastic!! I now have a new unit and it has been working just great for the last few weeks. Here is a tip that they shared with me. "after using the Alpha use a soft sponge and hot water and wash the unit. Doing this will stop it from clogging" believe me doing this works and I find that I no longer have an issue with having no mist. I now am more careful when putting in the oils and I am making sure that it doesn't come in contact with the unit. So far that has stopped the rubber from peeling off. I now can give this a 5 star rating. I most say that the seller is first rate too. x

I've tried or looked at several diffusers before ordering this one. I love that there are no annoying LED lights or buttons that beep when you turn it on and off. There is an indicator light when you turn it on and when you push the button to change the mode of the mist, but it turns off after about 5 seconds, making it perfect to use in a bedroom at night when you are sleeping. There are only two pieces to the diffuser, not counting the power cord: the bottom with the water tank and the top cover. It produces a steady stream of mist which you can choose to run continuously, or choose to have the mist on for 30 seconds and off for 30 seconds. The diffuser is fairly quiet and all you can hear is the faint sound of the fan and the water gurgling a bit.The diffuser is only 5 inches wide and 5 inches tall. It's nice and discreet and will fit in any décor.

Ok so I bought this scent diffuser and it just does not pack enough punch. I tried different oils thinking maybe it was the oils not being great, also the amount of oil drops I used to no avail.Then bought the Anjou 300ml capacity sccent diffuser which is great. Packs a lot more punch.Perhaps this scent diffuser would be ideal for small rooms or toilets etc. The fact there's no lights aswell is a bit of a letdown. But I did know this when I bought it. The reason I bought it was because the reviews were great and it was the most expensive.Hands down. Anjou 300ml light up one is unbelievable
