It works! The only hard part is how 'deep' you cut. If you're not too greedy, then you'll get good cuts of watermelon. (otherwise its hard to figure out where the rind starts without being able to see it). But the price is right. It works.

I have had a little trouble with this but it's me and not the slicer. I haven't mastered using it yet, but it is better and much faster than using a knife. I do like it for slicing melons.

Sorry! It doesn't work unless you have strong and steady hands. I could not cut through and steer the product. Maybe the blade needs to be sharper. Wasted money in my opinion.

Saw these in my local grocery early in the season - did not buy one and never saw them again. Glad I found this, because it's much nicer than the grocery store model.Does a great job of cubing melons in short time. Excellent gadget for any kitchen.
