Its function is seamless with the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The stand-alone design of this stylus, similar in geometry to the Note's pens, means it has a familiar feel. It has one button and relies on proximity to the device to function; however, this design is the only real negative about this pen. With it being a stand-alone, one would expect a little more girth, more like an actual pen than a Note-style stylus. Additionally, with added girth, Samsung may have been able to embed more tech that can be used for many other features such as air gesturing, PowerPoint remote, etc. With all that said, it is still helpful and a pretty convenient piece of companion tech. I have placed the pen in a pocket or my messenger bag with very little concern about breaking or losing it because of it's texturized grip.
