Travelon Anti-Theft Hobo with RFID Wallet Black

I bought this for my 3 week trip to Europe. The size was perfect, it wasn't too large or too small. I loved both outter side pockets because I could put water in them or a rolled up scarf to have readily accessible incase it was necessary to enter some of the churches. I also used the outside side pockets sometimes for my sunglasses too. The wallet was perfect size and had lots of different compartments for organizing money, cards and/or receipts. It was even large enough to hold my passport as well or my cell phone. I used the wallet as a small clutch when going to dinner. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because of the difficulty I had ordering it. I ultimately had to order this product 4 times to get it right. The first one I received had a defective zipper on the top of the main compartment of the purse, the second one did not have the wallet or the LED light inside. The third one was the same exact one that I received the first time that I had already returned once. And finally the fourth one was perfect. Unfortunately, for the seller they had to have spent more on the shipping cost sending it to me 4 separate times than what I paid for the purse. But, it was an excellent purse for traveling! The strap is adjustable to make it very comfortable for a cross body purse or can be short enough just for a shoulder purse.

I'm dissatisfied with this purchase. I bought it for a trip to Canada because I didn't want to use a backpack, but I wanted to be able to carry whatever I'd need for being out sightseeing. The capacity of the bag was fine, and I liked the security of the RFID feature and the inclusion of a matching wallet. And I especially appreciated the sturdy water bottle pocket. But the inside of the bag got dirty very quickly. I had a lot of black items (wallet, glasses cases, iPad, extra iPhoen lens case, etc) that it looks like the color transferred onto the lining from friction. Much of my travels with the purse were outdoors, but I was not expecting to see so much discoloration on the inside of my purse.I'm sure (or I hope) the discoloration can be cleaned, but my biggest complaint is that the seams are coming apart in a few places already, and some threads from the lining were visible coming through one of the seams after just a few days of use.I understand the purse can be sent to Travelon for repair, which I will do (and have to pay for shipping), but if the quality and workmanship only allow for a month's use at a time before another repair is needed, I will not likely buy any Travelon products in the future.I gave the purse 3 stars because it did meet my criteria of being able to carry a lot of items and having the safety features. It's also simple and nice looking.

Great Bag! I'm using everyday as a smaller option to my diaper bag. Side pockets easily hold a sipee cup/bottle and pockets/zippered areas all over keepeverything organized! Good size, too! Holds a lot without being too bulky. Wallet is thin, but has a zipped change pouch inside, so it does the job. Purse Fabric is sort of stiff, but not uncomfortably so. It just seems more structured compared to my other bags. Fabric is also easily cleaned and at least water resistant! Great for daily use. Only downside is the strap does not feel great on your shoulders after wearing crossbody for more than a few hours.

Love, love, LOVE this bag! I've had the black one for several months now and still looks as good as the day it came in the mail. I tend to be rough on bags so that's saying something. It's on the small-ish side, but it still holds a lot! It fits my iPad mini with the keyboard case on it nicely, along with other common purse essentials. The wallet is very nice and has held up as well as the purse. I also like the water resistant material. I've spilled water on it and it beaded up and rolled off. A couple of complaints though: 1) the rfid lining on the pocket inside the purse has somehow bunched up and wrinkled near the top, where previously it was nice a smooth. You can't tell by looking at, only by feeling it. 2) The purse without anything inside is 1lb, so it doesn't take much stuff inside to add considerable weight and make the purse uncomfortable to carry for long periods of time. Since I planned on using this purse for international travel, it would force me to be very particular on what I carried with me while out and about. THIS is the best purchase I've made all year! I took this handbag to Europe and loved how easy and unencumbering it was to use. The pockets were easy to access, the wallet easily retrievable, and the protection effective against credit card thieves. I love the appearance as well and felt reall comfortable wearing it all over Europe.Definitely, recommend this handbag for travelers!

I was so excited to get this for an upcoming trip this weekend. Right out of the packaging I could see that most of the hem from the strap was not sewn correctly. The inside of the strap showing and it would only get worse if you even wanted to use it.I will be returning it and not sure if I will buy any other products from this manufacturer.

Overall the bag will work for my trip. I agree with the other review, the bag is a little stiff. I was also a bit surprised by the vibrant turquoise interior. A bit less classy than I'd hoped. Likely won't become an everyday bag but waterproof, anti theft and light weight make it a good option for travel. Hope the shoulder issue isn't a problem.

Use it every day and believe it will be just what I need when I'm traveling this summer. I bought one for myself and another for my sister as a "We're actually going to do this" statement. The wallet is very nice, exactly the right size to be comfortable in my hands. The storage int he main bag is excellent.
