Lomographic Hipshot Camera Bag (White)

Maybe I just had exceedingly high expectations from this nice looking bag, after I saw the nice pictures on lomography.com website, but the reality was a real disappointment for me. It's not comfortable at all. The strap is way too thin, always makes problems to set up and does not hold the position at all. The compartments are so small that you can barely fit any camera in there (I hope at least my SuperSampler will fit). Moreover there is this weird strap, which is not detachable and while switching it to the hip wearing just flies around and looks awkward.If you don't particularly love the lomography products, please search for some other bags. I was for example very happy with the ergonomic features of Crumpler - I have a bag and a backpack, but it's dependent on a personal preference. Just don't buy this thing, if you expect to get something handy and comfortable of your camera trips. It looks cool and is made from very decent material, but it's so weird to carry around :)

The quality of construction on this item is great. It's sturdy, durable & you don't have to worry it'll fall apart. I like the material it's made out of, and the film strap works really well. So that is why I gave it 5 stars.I personally don't think it's the most comfortable camera bag I have used. It's a bit awkward to wear on your hip & over the shoulder.There are quite a few downsides to this product. My Diana Mini doesn't fit. I literally have to squeeze it in, and to get it in I cannot have the "wallet" in there, and the lens cap cannot be on the camera. I contacted LOMO before purchasing & they said it would be no problem to get a mini in there. Also the Diana flash barely fits, but it's possible.I bought this to take to Vegas & to be able to transport my camera through airports. I wish I hadn't...it would of been another $30+ I could of spent on the trip. Oh well, live & learn.

The Lomo Hipshot camera bag is just what it looks like, a simple small pack that you can stick ONE small point and shoot camera and a few rolls of film. The film holders are made of some strechy fabric that once it gets streched too much can't hold anything. If you absolutly have to have lomo then go ahead and get this otherwise I'd say pass on the Hipshot and search Amazon for a messenger bag that can hold a lot more for the same price!

I just got my Hipshot and I have the following observations:--My Diana camera won't fit into it, full stop. If I ever get one of the ActionSamplers it'll go in here.--If their 120 format cameras don't fit in the bag, then WHY do the film-holsters ONLY take 120 film well (no "lip" on 35mm to hold it)--Almost none of Lomo's 35mm cameras take an external flash. So WHY did they design one pocket just for a Colorsplash or Diana F+ flash?It's not worth returning and it may be worth using if I can figure out how to cram my Diana into it, but otherwise this item is all hip and no functionality.
