Jasmine Brown Rice 32 Ounces (Case of 6)6

We purchased 6 bags of the rice to have a good supply. It is a regular in our diet. Best Jasmine Brown rice we've found! We make it in a small Proctor Silex rice cooker. Slow, 12 minutes to heat the water and then about a hour to cook on low heat. Comes out great and we get 4 meals for the two of us. 4 cooks per bag.

This rice was recommended by a friend and is by far the best tasting rice I have ever had. It receives accolades from company everytime we make it and the name of it requested.I too purchased a bad first bag from a health food store; no bugs but stale in smell. Turns out the "purchase by date" had expired and the store owner was happy we'd brought it back for replacement.

This is the worst rice I've ever purchased. With the label claims and the pricetag I thought it would be worth a try, but it was terrible. Full of little stones, rotten pieces of rice, random bits of other rices, and broken bits. After 10 minutes of trying to pick out all the crap, I gave up and tossed it.

I bought a bag of this at the health food store and when I opened it up there were small black insects all over it. Needless to say I threw it away. I don't know if this is a problem with the product itself or how it was stored (although the bag was unopened and I didn't see any holes). I don't think I could ever purchase this product again.
