My cats LOVE this scratching post. Before, my adult cat would only scratch anything BUT his cat tree. Someone recommended getting a tall post for him to scratch because cats like to extend higher for scratching purposes. This product fits the bill perfectly, he LOVES it. My new kitten loves to climb it. The only issue we've had is it tends to topple easily, but it's not that big of a detractor for us.

Cats immediately went wild for this, especially the catnip tether ball! The small base could be sturdier and post wider around but for the price, it's a nice fix for my scratch crazed cats!

Our cat had outgrown his smaller scratching posts and could never really stretch out whike scratching. Not anymore. With this post he can happily stretch out and get a good scratch in. It was easy to assemble and a great price for the size compared to other similar options. The only issue is that the base is too small and the scratcher tips over easily as a result. I have modified mine to correct the issue.

This cat scratcher lasted me 5 months before I decided to replace it, and I’m going to reorder it! - this is the first time I’ve ever done thatThe price is great. The 34” is hard to find and tall enough for my 12 lb cat. The light colored sisal and light grey faux fur are aesthetic and soft. It’s sturdy and stable.

This tree is better for kitten than adult cat it is constantly falling over and my cats paws are caught in it as it goes down

Easy to assemble, will probably last a while, problem is it tips over easily when the cats go to stretch and scratch the top. This thing really should have a much heavier and/or wider base. Get what you pay for I guess.

Whiskers, a bad kitty, is also sometimes a moody kitty. I purchased this for her 97th birthday a long with a bounce house and some steak. She starts purring at me immediately because he/she/them knows that I did a good for the moody kitty. She now only scratches my shower curtains maybe like 7 times a day vs. maybe like 30 times a day. A great product. Just make sure your kitty does not fall asleep on top of the toy because she may fall on her noggin creating epilepsy so you will have to keep her away from light which is why my kitty now stays where he/she/them stays because of the ep.

Purchased in Feb 2023 and by summer time, the post was loose and not steady on the base. Then by Fall, the entire post came off because the plastic tube is stapled to a small lip on the plastic. So cheaply made! Keep shopping to find better quality. The smaller round base was not designed well. For a taller post, it needs a wider, heavier base. The post tips over too easily. My 2 small (7-9 pound) cats excitedly went to try it out once I assembled it. It immediately started tipping over and neither of my cats have used it since. Booo. So my Dad screwed our own larger, heavier wood base to the post to keep it sturdy and prevent tipping, which worked for about 1 month. Then the stapled plastic tube became loose and separated. I removed the broken piece and screwed the top half of the post into the bottom - but now its so short. My cats don't even give it a passing look. Ugh. Waste of money Utter crap!
