Only complaint is that I thought it was supposed to come with the cord that connects the phone to the headset. Had to buy one. A: To expand on Kevin's answer, the headset itself is not noise cancelling (you will still hear what's going on it your environment). Noise cancellation on a monaural (one earpiece) device would be pointless. The microphone, however, IS noise cancelling (meaning the person you are talking to will hear less or no noise from your environment).

This headset is AMAZING!! Excellent sound quality and the mic puts out crisp clear sound!! I work in a 911 center so I can appreciate a good quality headset. I have used several other Plantronic headsets but this one is by far my favorite! I was told by a former boss these headsets were discontinued. When I found them on Amazon I was shook. lol Seriously the sound quality is amazing, its comfortable and the mic moves all around, not just up and down. Good quality and a good price!
