The viewfinder on this camera just generally feels much more accurate to what I am trying to achieve, as opposed to the screen view. To be honest, I had very low expectations for the 18-135mm lens because most professional photographers consider buying a kit lens to be a big no-no. However, this $400 lens proves to be competent enough for what I am trying to achieve, at least for now. I think in the right hands, the Sony Alpha a6400 can perform extremely well, even with the 18-135mm kit lens. Going forward, I will most likely upgrade the lens in the long term. The camera was actually slightly bigger and heavier than I thought. Based on reviews and what I read on the internet, people have been going on about how small and light the camera is. With the 18-135mm lens and the camera body, the camera is not heavy, but rather feels firm. The a6400 doesn't feel so light and flimsy to the point of the camera falling out of your hands if you slightly lose grip. The camera is small enough for travel, but large and heavy enough for firmness and stability. Perfect balance. Great travel camera. Perfect for aquatic documentary photography. Images are very clear when you zoom in, there is very little noise or pixelation in the photos with this camera. I like 'Sony color', as people refer to as, the tones feel realistic and cool. The Sony Alpha a6400 also performs very well in low light, which was something my budget cameras simply could not handle. The low light issue and noise from my budget cameras was the reason I decided to get the Sony Alpha a6400.
