Ive gotten lens hood from this bramd before and its just as good as the canon ones. i mean if you want to spend 50 bucks on the canon branded hood, just to have the logo and match your camera...then go ahead. But im telling you this plastic is just as strong for a quarter of the price. it attaches nicely to the lens with a satisfying click no matter what orientation you lock onto your lens. Mind you, i have a Canon EF 17-35mmm f4 that came woth the canon brand lens hood and although ita great quality, something like this lens hood from a 3rd party is more than adequate to block out lens flare and protect your lens. At 12 bucks....just do it already. Review: Works great as alternative to Canon lens hood for RF 24-240mm F4-6. 3 IS USM - Save your money and buy this instead of the Canon lens hood. I recently purchased a Canon RF 24-240mm F4-6. 3 IS USM lens for some travel and I could not bring myself to spend $40 for the Canon lens hood (EW-78F) that really should have been included with the lens. (Shame on you, Canon.) I saw this lens hood for $12-15 and thought it would be worth giving a try, and it does the job nicely. I know that a lens hood doesn't really do much, but this provide the following: * Protects the lens * Can reverse mount the hood on the lens to save space. * Has a release button to unlock the hood. In terms of sturdiness, it doesn't seem any different from a Canon lens hood. ## Features - 【Replace ET-101 Lens Hood】:Compatible with Canon RF 800mm F11 IS STM Lens and RF 200-800mm f/6.3-9 IS USM Lens on EOS R6 EOS R5 EOS R EOS RP EOS Ra. camera. !!!Note: The RF 200-800mm f/6.3-9 IS USM lens comes with a lens hood.
