I was able to run Virtualbox VMs stored on the USB drive instead of using the disk space on my host SSD. Other big name SSDs could not handle the VM disk IO (ie: SanDisk and Kingston). I'm a Linux developer so this setup allow me to archive old projects to the KingSpec SSD, but still run them later with Virtualbox. I have several KingSpec SSD’s running in different computers, and they all have performed extremely well. I would recommend the KingSpec brand as a good SSD for normal day to day use.
