We sat down and started making simple circuits, and right away, he developed an endless string of questions that included the phrase “ what if. “ From there, we spent a couple of hours developing different circuits for the lights, diodes, and motor on three or four occasions. I was thinking about making this type of set for him over the last year or so but found that this pre-made one includes enough to spark interest in the child, and thus, it is well worth the money. For a beginner set, you get enough materials to at least spark a child's interest. The connection points along the knife switches are sturdy, and the terminals screw in tightly enough without any fear of damage or breakage in the items. The terminations on the wires are well-made, and the lamp bases work perfectly. The propeller is a little snug on the motor shaft, but for the price of the kit, you just can't be the spark that will result.
