Genuinely great product
I bought this as the hit nights in Dubai have always given me sleep problems. But from the first time I used this, it was simply brilliant. Easy to set up, quiet (I was expecting it to be loud) and kept me comfortable all night. Would recommend. It’s expensive (almost egregiously so) but it’s been money well spent.

Good with caveats.
Chills the bed and heats the bed well. Nice leak free connectors. Remote control works well. CONS: 1. Definitely over priced for what it is. 2. Slightly on the loud side. If you can hide it deep u see your bed the noise level may be ok for some. 3. Longevity is questionable. Has a short warranty. Needs a 8 year warranty at least. I could see this thing breaking in about 2 years. 4. Water reservoir is vented so periodically you have to add water. 5. Water reservoir is vented design so you can’t invert the unit to dump out the water. Manufacturer sends a special adapter to remove water. 6. Packaging is way over done. Extra expensive multiple cardboard containers plus gimmicky shear bags. Packaging screams “this product costs an extra $100 just because of the box!” 7. Power draw is around 150 watts in cool mode. So 8hrs per night will cost around $5.00/month in electricity

Works great!
This is the best thing ever. It’s like having your own a/c on your bed. I’ve only tried the chill temperature due to living in the desert during the summer. I have turned off my a/c and saved on electricity. I sleep with a small fan plus this Chilipad. The machine is next to my bed and it’s super quiet.

Outstanding product
Bought this for my wife fully prepared for it not working well enough to justify the price tag. I was very surprised at how much she liked it. Worth every penny. She’s is sleeping so much better.

No good: noisy, rough, and non-uniform temperature
Mixed feelings, the pad kinda works, used for about a week, i got easier into deep sleep but the side effects of using it made me return the product: - i have a very good mattress, the pad on either side complete destroys the experience, as it is rough, as it has tubes to circulate the water, they will become stiff as the water flows. - the temperature was not exactly uniform, some parts of the body were warmer. i guess physics... - because it is rough, i found myself turning a lot more than usual. my mattress is very high end, copper infused with memory foam. i bought it to minimize the turning, the pad nullified that - noise level is terrible, you get used to it, but because of the roughness of the pad, i was waking up to turn, and ended up been harder to go back to sleep because of the noise. most youtube videos i watched, basically what the algorith offers you anyway, do not talk about comfort, temperature uniformity, offset the mattress qualities, noise level. specifically noise, nobody talks about. this is just my experience, maybe the youtuber are right for most people, but not for me. at $700, it is definitely not a good buy. i would pay $1,000 if it was quiet, soft, and with uniform cooling. hope that helps you.

Certainly not silent, but I sleep better now
I purchased the Twin XL to put on a king bed. The elastic that keeps it in place allows this - they're straps that go top to bottom on each side, so I didn't have to do anything weird to keep it in place on that side that's in the middle of the bed. This uses about 24 oz of DISTILLED water on startup, so you may as well go buy that while you're waiting for it to be delivered (and 2 AAA batteries for the remote). The Cube requires 2' of clearance on all 4 sides, which is quite a bit, unless your bed is on risers AND you're not storing large amounts of things under there. The remote does NOT need a line of sight. Wherever you put the Cube, you'll need to get to it every now and then to drop a little more water in. I've had it for almost 3 weeks, and have put maybe 3 oz total in (2 separate times). This is in the winter; I don't know if it'll be different in the summer, with more condensation and chilling. It took a few days to dial in the right temperature for me, and to get used to it. It's going to be a fairly uniform temperature the whole length of the mattress, so you may end up sticking a towel between the pad and the fitted sheet to not frost your toes too much. As other reviewers have said, it's a sound that you'll notice. I prefer to think of it as a white noise machine. It's a pretty constant sound. I've changed the way that I sleep to get the most benefit out of this - sleeping on your back or stomach will expose the most body area to the pad. I still get a hot flash a few minutes after I go to bed, but that goes away fairly quickly, and I'm not waking up many times during the night, drenched in sweat, any more - this is great. At full price, it can seem a bit costly, but I talked myself into it with "but it's worth $10 a day to sleep well, so it's paid off in less than 3 months" - but while I was talking myself into it, the price dropped, and I'm glad that I went for it. I will try to remember to update this in the summer, when it'll have a bit more work to keep the bed cool, and I'll be using different bedding. The guide mentions buying extra sachets of water conditioner, but they did not include any in the original box, and I don't see any on their website or Amazon; I'll probably look for some waterbed conditioner and put a little of that in every few months. By the way, I finally found what "ME/WE" stands for - 1 or 2 people - "me" and "we". I couldn't find that anywhere in their documentation, but figured it out while on their website. It looks like they have a new product ("ooler") that links to an app, so they may be phasing this product out.
