ACME636 Whistle

Having brought various editions of those mountain style metal tube whistles that produced an awful noise - this little gem is just what I wanted to keep on my keys in case of emergency when out walking. It's small, light and having given it a slight test blow - very loud.

I got this for safety reasons. It's great to have a whistle on a hike, in case you get injured and need help. It's also a handy tool for women after dark. This whistle is sturdy and makes a big noise with no blowing effort. What else is there to say?

The slimline whistle is as the name states, Very Slim so you can attach it to your key chain and put it in your pocket. Not bulky and best of all this slim whistle is Very Loud. I bought this for my daughter to have just in case of an emergency. I only bought one just to make sure that the whistle was loud enough. I plan on buying more for stocking stuffers. I would definatley reccomend this for any one who wants that lil extra security without having a bodyguard!

As other reviewers have stated, this thing is very loud and requires only a little bit of air. I did a little test by trying to blow it as loud as I could while using as little air as I could. I was surprised. I will probably buy another one for carrying in the woods (bought the first one for the car emergency kit). The pink is very easy to see if you drop it in the woods.

This whistle is very loud and extremely light. I wear it when I'm out and about with a break-a-way lanyard that I bought from Walmart. I also like the bright pink color. Makes it easy to find if you happen to drop it.
