Best earplugs Iโve found for my sensory self. Watch a how-to video before using though.
I am an auditory avoidant neurodivergent person with an inner ear deformity that makes me even more sensitive to unwanted sound. So earplugs are very important to me and I will say that these are the best Iโve found so far. Here are the things I like about them: 1). They are more comfortable inside the ear and stay in better than foam earplugs. 2). Theyโre more reliable also; I think anyone who has used foam earplugs regularly has experienced having them suddenly stop compressing/expanding properly and becoming completely useless at the moment you need them the most. The Loops donโt do that. There is nothing to compress or expand so they are very dependable. And they do block out quite a bit of unwanted sound. 3). once they are in properly, you really canโt see them from the front, unlike those foam plugs that stick out and look ridiculous. 4). because they lie flat against the ear, I can wear them with my noise-canceling headphones if I need extra protection. 5). they are the only thing that make it tolerable to go to the very noisy planet gym (where they BLARE the music even at 6 am on a Sunday when I, a person in my 50s, am the youngest person in the place. WHY?!?) Things I would change: 1) I find the loop part a little big for my ear. The outside cartilaginous part of my ear gets really sore after Iโve worn them for a while, from the loop part pressing on it. Maybe Iโll try child-sized ones in the future. 2) My ears require two different sizes of plug attachments- small on the right and medium on the left. So I wish they would make some indication on the loop part of a right/left designation. Preferably something like a raised bump pattern on one that I could feel when trying to put them in at night in the dark. Both of these things are minor and not bothersome enough to give a lower review. Theyโre just things that (for me) would make an already excellent product even better. If you have never used them before, I highly recommend watching one of their videos on how to fit them and properly install them in your ears. They come with several sizes of plugs. You will try each on to find the ones that fit best. In order to do this, you must pull off the plug attachments that are on the Loops when you receive them. I was reluctant to do this because you really do have to grip them and pull pretty hard. I didnโt want to pull too hard and ruin my my new and (to me) very costly earplugs, but it turns out they are quite sturdy so you can feel confident doing that. You then insert them and then turn them so that the loop part is tucked into theโฆโฆ swirly part (?) of your outer ear. My only regrets are that I didnโt buy them sooner, and that I didnโt get an extra pair, because I really need a pair to keep by my bed and a pair for my purse. If your memory is better than mine and you remember to take them everywhere with you, then you can get by with one pair. Overall they are excellent and I know itโs a leap of faith, given the price, when youโre used to getting like 200 foam earplugs for the same price, but as a person who is very sensitive to sound, I highly recommend them. EDIT: The reason I strongly suggest watching a video on how to use these, is that the instructions for use that come in the package are utterly unreadable (see photo). I wasnโt able to read them even by taking a photo and enlarging it. So if you hear or read about people getting these stuck in their ears, itโs because they didnโt/couldnโt read the instructions and just used the pads without the loops themselves attached. Once you attach the pads to the loops, unless theyโre defective, you have to really pull to get them off and they will not just randomly come off in your ear. Itโs not the usersโ fault though. The packaging is terrible in terms of readability. I honestly donโt know how it made it through the design phase. Despite the blatant packaging fail, however, the earplugs themselves are still awesome.

Works with Piercings !!!
Buckle up because I dont leave reviews often but when I do they are long and detailed because I either hate or love the product enough to spend time writing a review. Im the kind of person who does a stupid amount of research and reads hundreds of reviews before purchasing. In this case I absolutely love these ear plugs!!! What I use earplugs for: Multipurpose 1. I have a partner who snores so I sleep with earplugs often 2. I work at home and need to drown out people/loud kids/tvs and other distractions so I can focus. 3. I also can occasionally get overestimulated and need to filter out daily life sounds to reduce agitation. I have an issue with Misophonia particularly with hearing the sound of other people eating so sometimes I'll wear hear through ear plugs at the dinner table especially if my partners otherwise well behaved son is with us and despite his best efforts cannot chew with his mouth closed. 4. Sometimes i will use hearthrough earplugs for concerts 5. I occasionally do sensory deprivation Floats and use plugs to keep the salt water out of my ears and block outside noise. What im comparing these to: I had some cheap but decent enough soft silicone cone type earplugs I ordered off amazon for about $7 about 3 or 4 years ago. They were effective enough and had a small tab on one side that was supposed to help you pull them out. Unfortunately because of placement of the tab I'd have to put them in at a specific angle to reach the tab easily. I would frequently panic that I wasn't going to be able to reach/grab ahold of the tab and remove them if the plugs were seated 'just so' in my ear. They also caught on my tragus piercing and were tolerable but not super comfortable for sleeping. I struggled along with them until one day I went to pull them out and the tab on one earplugs completely broke off which made it completely unusable. Why I chose to purchase these Loop plugs over other Loop designs : I decided to look in to these after my previous ear plugs broke. I researched the manufacturers website and decided that their "quiet" earplugs were what I wanted to try first as they block out the most sound and were made of softer silicone material that would be more comfortable for sleeping. I did consider getting their new fancy plugs that have a switch where you can actually change how much sound gets through but they are made of a stiffer material and the website said they specifically wouldn't recommend them for sleeping. I might go back and purchase a few of their other styles for concerts now that I know I love these! Why I love these: True balance of form and function. The silicone is flexible but firm and the design is makes them functional and comfortable. The piece that goes in to your ear has more flexibility to form to your ear canal but the loop is firmer which is helpful for control while inserting and removing. They very easily seat in to my ears and create a secure suction that blocks out sooo much noise. I will say it does not block out EVERYTHING but it is VERY effective at blocking out like 98% of all sounds including snoring. Depending on the snore I would say it either completely blocks it out or turns it from a full on rage inducing racecar snore to it basically sounding like your partner is just softly breathing next to you like a normal human. If my partner knows I'm wearing them he can talk loud enough for me to hear him without me taking them out. I would describe the sound level to be like you just went in to a very quiet library or museum and no sound is ever above whisper level and that's only if it's really loud. The 'loop' design makes it so comfortable for sleeping and extremely easy to remove even with my piercings! The loop part sits in the 'bowl' of your outer ear and doesn't put excess pressure up against my tragus so even sleeping on my side is comfortable! There's no pinching or catching and I can put the plugs in and take them out without issue, finally no more irritated piercings in the morning after hours of sleeping on my side. These are excellent for hours of wear, the box comes with small, med, and large plugs that you can change out or mix and match if your ears are different sizes or have piercings. I've been using the medium size and they work great but I'm going to see if the smalls will work in my ears as well. I LOVE that they include a functional case and appreciate the loop for easy connecting to a key chain or lanyard. The case is awesome for several reasons. It's a clamshell design that isn't loud so even if I decide to put them in when my partner is already asleep and it's dark I don't have to worry about holding on to the lid because it stays attached and when I close it the click is soft enough that I don't worry about it waking him up! Also the way the inside of the case is molded to the earplugs makes it so that when I open the case the plugs stay seated and don't fall out. So far they work exceptionally well for reasons 1 through 3 I listed above and I'm excited to try them at a concert and for a float. I'd be very impressed if they work for Floats and will update this review once I test it. I really hope this helps you decide but these things are awesome and relatively inexpensive! Absolutely worth the investment for the quality and functionality. I doubt I will ever have to buy another pair of earplugs! UPDATE: I wore them on a float and the did work and didn't get any more water in my ear than I do normally with the foam plugs. Also I did switch to the small size and the seem to work even better for my ears.

The best yet!
I've been with the same man for 40 years. For the last few, I have not been able to sleep through his snoring. Is it worse than it used to be? Am I a lighter sleeper? I don't know! I've tried the sponge type ear plugs and I cannot fit them in my ears properly! They always pop out and sound gets around them. I just cannot get the snug fit I need to cancel out the noise. I've recently tried the silicone gel plugs and ... they're comfortable but I cannot get the sound canceling out of them as well as I need either. They're better than the foam plugs, but not as effective as these ear plugs. Apparently, one of my ear canals is smaller than the other so I use two different sizes to get the fit I'm looking for. These cancel out sound better than anything I have tried short of using head phones. I've even considered head phones but sleeping in them would be really tricky! There are some pro's and con's to these ear plugs. Pro ... * They fit snug. * They cancel out noise better than anything else I've tried. * They come in enough sizes, there's one for every size ear canal. * They're easy to put in and take out. * There's a nice, little case to put them in for storing or traveling. * I can use them over and over. Con ... * They can tear easily if not handled carefully while detaching the plug from the handle. * They can be painful while sleeping. Any other time I would need to wear them to cancel out noise other than sleeping, they would be comfortable. I'm a side sleeper and these tend to be uncomfortable. Laying on them puts pressure on some of the points in my ears and it's uncomfortable. For this reason alone, I have deducted one of the stars. These are as perfect as I can get for the moment. When they get too painful, I'll use the silicone plugs or ... go to the guest room to get the sleep I need.

Mack's vs Loop Quiet vs Funsound vs SUPCEAT vs Earos One
Review for Loop Quiet, Funsound, SUPCEAT and Earos One, compared to Mackโs earplugs. Mackโs: noise reduction 5/5 (advertised 30db), ease of application 5/5, comfort 5/5 Carry case: 0/5, price: 12.99/40 pairs I've been using Mackโs for years! Got no complaints, was just ready to try something else (better?). I can use each pair for about 2 -4 weeks, depending on environment. They will eventually get mushy from all the wear and moisture absorption and need to be replaced. These will be my 'baseline'. Loop Quiet: noise reduction 3/5 (advertised 26db), ease of application 3/5, comfort 2/5 Carry case: 5/5, price: 29.95, 4 pairs silicone (XS, S, M, L) These are comfortable at first, but the loops are made of some sort of hard plastic; I've got a rigid pillow, the loop on the pillow side started biting into the side of my ear the first night. Soreness faded throughout the day. Also, the right/dominant side twisted loose and was about to pop out several times during the night, disturbing sleep. Noise reduction seems as advertised, but first they would have to stay in for it to be a consistent experience. Deep sleep suffered as a consequence. Funsound: noise reduction 2/5 (advertised 25.5db) (averaged), ease of application 3/5, comfort 3/5 Carry case: 5/5, price: 17.99, 6 pairs, silicone (S, M, L), foam (S, M, L) Comfortable at first, the loops are not soft; same as the LoopQ, the loop started biting into the side of my ear the first night, though less than the LoopQ. It also didn't come loose, though the loop does rotate around some. I expected the closed loop to aid with sound dampening but I was wrong; it seems it's merely cosmetic. Deep sleep suffered as a consequence. Disappointing result. Overall they seem to let through a lot more sound than 0.5dB, compared to the LoopQ SUPCEAT: noise reduction 0/5 (advertised 29db), ease of application 4/5, comfort 2/5 Carry case: 5/5, price: 28.99, 2 pairs (S, L) These are letting through more noise than they block; at times sounds like I'm not wearing any plugs at all. Out of all previous ones, these were the worst when it comes to noise reduction. Lying on the side, they become very uncomfortable quite quickly on the side with pillow contact. Couldn't wear them more than half hour, switched to Mack's for the night. Earos: noise reduction 1/5 (advertised 17db), ease of application 2/5, comfort 2/5 Carry case: 3/5, price: 39.75, 3 pairs, 2 silicon (S, M), 1 foam (L) Very fidgety to get in right. Both TPE options do not close ear canal, do not slide in easily and don't feel secure. Very uncomfortable, bordering on painful. Foam tips are noticeably better but offering only one size, large, is pathetic for the asking price. These were so uncomfortable that I could not bring myself to wear them even one night. Utter fail. The snap bag, when considering the price tag, seems like a pathetic attempt to keep up with the Joneses. The entire product is a purely designer item with no practical usefulness whatsoever. In summary, I will be sticking with Mackโs, tried and trusted, reasonably priced.

Works great for me
These are very very comfortable and functional. They work for me exactly as described in the product description. I haven't had an issue with the carrying case so far. It doesn't seem flimsy to me. I like it's silicone loop so I can attach it the the inside of my purse and have my Loop ear plugs accessible and easy to find if I need to pop them in. The really do mute most sound and remove exterior noise that is not in my direct attention. I thing the key to that is finding the actual right size for you out of the four sizes it comes with. A few sizes "fit" my ears. But only the extra small worked all the way/correctly for me. I use these for a few different things. I bought them primarily for sleep and napping. I have trouble sleeping at night with exterior noise in my home (especially when it's quiet at night aside from those things). I get overestimated by things such as the sounds of my dishwasher and laundry machines, my AC running, cars outside, dogs barking outside, ect. No matter how tired I am; I cannot fall asleep with all of this stimulation keeping me awake. I have gotten great sleep with these ear plugs at night. I can fall asleep much faster and much more soundly while wearing these. They are very comfortable to sleep in and I had no issue with them falling out at all. I forgot I was wearing them. I appreciate that they do not mute all sound, entirely. I can still hear my 1 year old when he wakes at night (he sleeps in my room). This is very important to me to be able to hear him so I can attend to his needs when needed. I wouldn't be able to wear ear plugs otherwise. It does however block most sound to where the volume of "life" is at a much lower volume. And it's very dampened. It makes focusing on things I'm doing or just tolerating an overstimulating day very easy. Sometimes, my son will cry if I use the restroom or wash my hands. I will pop in my ear plugs before I do these things so that his crying isn't so powerful to my senses. It keeps me calmer and allows me to focus on him and his needs (as opposed to half of my attention being on being overwhelmed by the situation). It has made me a better parent in that way. I have found that morning walks can be more peaceful while wearing these as well. And I get into a great state of meditation with these. Normally, I struggle to calm my mind and body for meditation. These are a great meditation tool. I have implemented these ear plugs into my every day life and have been happy with the positive changes they provide me. I'm happy with my purchase and the price matches the value in my opinion. I'd buy again

A Game-Changer for Quality Sleep and Noise Sensitivity โ Highly Recommend!
I recently purchased the Loop Quiet Ear Plugs, and I must say, they have been an absolute game-changer for me. I've tried various earplugs in the past, but none have come close to the comfort and effectiveness of these. Here's why: Noise Reduction Capabilities: The Loop Quiet Ear Plugs offer an impressive SNR 27 dB & NRR 14 decibel noise reduction. I was skeptical at first, but after using them, I can confirm they work incredibly well. Whether it's blocking out street noise for better sleep or helping me focus in a noisy environment, these earplugs have exceeded my expectations. Comfort: Made from soft-touch flexible silicone, these earplugs are incredibly comfortable. I'm a side sleeper, and I've had no issues with discomfort. The material is soft yet durable, providing a snug fit without any irritation. Versatility: The package comes with 4 adjustable sizes of ear tips (XS, S, M & L), making it easy to find the perfect fit. This is a huge plus for me, as I've struggled with one-size-fits-all earplugs in the past. Reusability and Cleanliness: These earplugs are super easy to clean and are designed for repeated daily use. The silicone material makes them easy to wash, and they've held up well so far. Certified Hearing Protection: It's reassuring to know that these earplugs qualify as Certified Hearing Protection. This gives me peace of mind that I'm not just blocking out noise but also protecting my hearing in the long run. What's in the Box: The Loop Quiet earplugs come with a convenient carry case, making it easy to keep them safe and clean when not in use. The inclusion of multiple ear tip sizes is a thoughtful touch that adds value to the product. Final Thoughts: If you're in the market for effective, comfortable, and reusable earplugs, look no further than Loop Quiet Ear Plugs. They have significantly improved my quality of sleep and have been a lifesaver in noisy environments. Highly recommend!

Comfortable but Poor Reduction, Amplified Tinnitus
First off I will state that my needs are a bit different than average, yet not completely rare. I work twelve hour night shifts, and I try to keep my sleep between shifts sacred for physical and mental recovery. As a born night owl that has been working this schedule for many many years, I sleep easily and naturally during the day, and I've developed routines to assure minimal interruptions... That is until a few years ago when everything got turned upside down with my husband going fully remote for work, with us making him a home office. Our 900sqft flat might be okay for some setups, except he is a former professor and a musician that runs meetings all day, and had never learned to stop projecting even though he's merely speaking to the laptop in front of him. Our place is also outfitted with the cheapest hollow-core interior doors someone could possibly flip, so I've tried to insulate them with over the door storage hangers for our various robes and hoodies to absorb some acoustics, which did nothing. I already sleep with either droning history documentaries or audiobooks playing, and also utilize sleep masks which completely wrap around my head and cover my ears, but still his work voice and ups and downs throughout the day carry through. Lately, with the introduction of new upstairs neighbors clomping around directly above our bedroom, and a change in our building's water pressure causing the pipes to create an intermittent yet constant high pitched whistling/whine, I gave up and decided I needed ear plugs. Too much is going on now, and I can't function with such interruptions. I am a stomach / side sleeper and I do find these to be extremely comfortable. For years I did wear regular corded headphones to sleep in (prior to everything dropping the headphone jack) and often struggled with earbuds that dug in and hurt. These are a fantastic shape and fit. Now I also do have extremely wet ear wax, sort of like sweaty ears, and silicone bud tips do slip out after warming up a bit. These are no exception, but because of the sleep masks I use that cover my ears, losing one hasn't been an issue even though they are extremely "loose" when I do get up. I definitely have to make sure I clean them and my ears with alcohol wipes after use. The first day I wore these, I noted that I could still hear my playlist somewhat over the noise blocking, which was just fine for white noise. It really did seem to cover up the rest of my environmental noises and I got a decent sleep, so much that I didn't catch my alarm until a minute after it started chiming. Oops. I should have turned it up! The following times, I don't know if I built up a tolerance or have just been hyper sensitive, but I got no benefits. I could still hear my husband's presentations despite all of my barriers and over these ear plugs. Worse: my tinnitus feels extremely amplified while wearing these. Worst: it now feels constant all the time. I knew I had some mild static ringing noise in my ears, extremely faint in total silence. Suddenly I have it louder all the time, and it's seriously driving me crazy. I wasn't expecting total sound cancellation, but I was at least optimistic that I would at least have some reprieve from muffled sound two rooms away. At this point I'm just hoping that my increased tinnitus fades. Besides comfort, I just can't see these being functional nor even safe for someone wanting to even protect their hearing from potential damage from loud events. I just can't recommend, and for myself I know to steer clear of any plugs due to tinnitus.

Amazing Comfort & Sleep Quality Boost!
I absolutely love these earplugs! The soft material feels super comfortable, and the color is really nice too. They fit perfectly, adjust easily, and are simple to remove. Iโm a very light sleeper, and these have made a huge difference. They block out the little noises that used to wake me up all night long. Since I started using them, my sleep quality has improved so much. Highly recommended!

Spettacolare!
