I've used about 10 of these over the years. Over time, sometimes right out of the box, the suction lock lever never generates enough pressure to hold the device onto the windshield. Also, the green sticky part is so sticky that even though i'm careful at peeling my phone off of it, i will tweak the arm a little too much and it will break the plastic off the base. So, it's a good thing these are cheap, because they break easily.

Says on the instructions can do not use in cold weather I live in New Hampshire should've never been sent to me or New England because it's not winter that's called from five months

It works but I tried to pull it off the back of my phone and it shattered the back glass and I didn't have enough money to fix my phone and then the moisture got into it and now it didn't work. But the time I had it yeah it was great and stayed on the window of the truck but I didn't know it was that good.

the adjustable arm keeps getting stuck but it suctions to the window well and works for my needs. Good for the price.

I thought it was suction cup to phone its sticky 2 way tape

When I took it our of the box I thought it was going to be pretty good. Tried the mounting pad; won't stay stuck. Tried the windshield; won't stay. Took a close look at the suction cup contact area and it is not smooth like you would expect it to be. Sad part is the design of the actual arm is great.

Let me first say that when I ordered this product I was super excited to receive it. Upon arrival though, I took it out of the box and it appeared cheap. It’s made of plastic and the head of the mount where the phone rests appeared to keep coming off the mount base. I read through the instructions which for the most part seemed pretty simple. I followed them to a T with no success in mounting my phone mount. I was extremely frustrated. The base was not sticking to the dash board, it was not sticking to the surface near my radio. I used every piece in the instructions and eventually gave up.I went back and read the only review for the product and this person had had so much trouble with it as well. I had resolved this wasn’t going to work and threw it back in the box and left it in the back seat of my car for a couple weeks.I went back and read the reviews again yesterday. I saw pictures in other’s reviews on how they mounted it and decided I would go back and try again. And let me say I am so glad I did. I still think it’s a little cheap in the quality, but I definitely was able to get it mounted. I had some problems with the base sticking. I realized from my first attempts at mounting it that it had been pushed down and so the lever wasn’t working. I pulled the suction cups from the bottom up and it released so that the lever would work again. I then decided to place it on my window and had a lot of success. I also discovered there was a button on the side of the mount that allowed me to move the long piece around to position it perfectly. I didn’t even notice this the first time I tried mounting it. So this was a huge plus in getting the mount positioned exactly the way I wanted it. Lastly, I peeled the plastic off the sticky pad and adhered my phone. I have a case on my phone and this mount takes the phone with the case and holds it just fine. Huge plus because I didn’t want to have to take my phone in and out of the case. It leaves a little residue in that you see an outline of where it was on the sticky pad, but nothing that can’t be wiped away.My only concerns right now would be will the sticky pad last long. What happens when it decides to no longer grab the phone on the sticky pad and the residue starts fading away? Only time will tell. All in all, I would recommend this product. It didn't work with my iPhone 6s Plus, replaced with another that is a clip. Don't recommend unless your device is small and light. When I received this at first, the packaging looks real nice and dandy so I had good expectation for the product as well. Once I opened the box, the odor from the rubber plate was too strong.. There are a couple of elements failed on me such as suction. It didn't stick to anywhere and the pivoting head also got fell off easily. Maybe my iPhone was too heavy and big for this stand. Overall, it didn't work.
