This device is good, once calibrated and used properly. It gives you statistics on your own, individualized acetone levels to indicate the depth of ketosis. I recommend measuring along with blood glucose and blood-ketones to get the most out of it.

It did not perform nearly as well as advertised.Live and learn.Purchased a percision xtra with B-Ketone strips.Should have purchased the blood test meter from the start‼️

I wrote a long review on this (for the blue one), but that listing got deleted, along with it's bad review. This product, the meter and software were both defective for me and other users. It was glitchy and didn't work. IF they get their act togather I would buy again and give it a try.

For a ketonic or low carb high fat diet/lifestyle this meter is great! I've been working the ketonic eating for 2 weeks and I'm quite surprised to be losing weight with no real effort AND keeping my insulin resistant blood sugar levels in the 80's instead of over 100. Great tool to monitor ketone levels.

I'm addicted to this now. I have to admit, I had buyer's remorse for a moment, thinking is this really worth the expense? Now I know it's worth it, in that I'm using it several times a day to see how different meals affect my Ketone (Acetone) readings. Once it registered that I was in nutritional ketosis, I did blood test immediately following various readings. I am able to correlate the numbers on the breath analyzer to my blood ketones (Beta-Hydroxybutyrate). I have found I am in light ketosis after waking in the morning, which means, I'm burning fat through the night. I can also start testing how many carbs I can add back into my diet and stay in ketosis. Blood testing was so expensive, that I didn't do it once a day, much less several times a day. Urine tests are inaccurate (affected by water intake) and even less accurate once keto adapted.

Works great and in the long run much better than the blood testing strip. No longer a pin cushion.

this is a great bargain if you are testing for ketosis on a regular basis - much more economical than the blood ketone strips though you can't compare the two since they are measuring different markers. It took me a little bit to get it set up but not too bad. Helpful for maintaining a ketogenic diet.

der Ketonix ist an sich sehr cool ich fand nur schwierig herauszufinden wie das gerät geht bzw. das Computerprogramm, da mein englisch nicht so reisend gut ist es aber nur Anleitungen auf schwedisch und englisch gibt, es wäre fein eine auf deutsch zu haben, vielleicht findet sich ja jemand der das übersetzten kann

This product is complete waste of money. I 've been in nutritional ketosis for six weekResults from the Ketonix are entirely different from glucose meter (ketone body measurement).For example today Ketonix showed 38 (about 0,45 mM - this means out of ketosis) whereas glucose meter 2.1 mM.(deep ketosis)Previous results, 2 days ago: Ketonix 30 mM (about 0.3-0.4 mM, out of ketosis) - glucose meter 1.1 (in ketosis)Before each measurement the device is calibrated. I blow slowly (over 30 second) without inhale.Sometimes the device gives quite correct results, but differences such as above make it very unreliable.I can't rely on Ketonix to check my ketosis state.Strongly don't recommend it to buy.
