I was hoping my kids could carry them around the house to build forts wherever they would like, however
We are loving these fort builders so far. The only down side is that they are very heavy. I was hoping my kids could carry them around the house to build forts wherever they would like, however, they are too heavy to carry them all together. If the kids continue to play with them like they have been we will be ordering another set. They are extremely better then the plastic flimsy brands out there!!

A sturdy set worth the price!
I actually ordered this and the larger set to create three gift sets for Christmas. I included in each set a white flannel sheet and washable fabric markers to let the kids design any sort of interior that they's like. (I may also print off pictures of family members with a window super imposed over them onto iron on transfers for my nephews who live far away so they can pretend their play fort is actually here in New York and not Ohio.*)I chose this kit over the other cheaper ones as it seemed to be easy to use but still quite sturdy and it is. The post can be a bit tricky to put into the holes solidly enough to avoid popping out when four hyper toddlers/preschoolers are running in and out of it. The trick seems to be working in cube sections lean a bit on each corner to use your body weight to ensure it is seated fully. Then turn the cube over and repeat this on the other side/directions. Then build from the center cube doing the same thing. The concept is easy enough our 17 month old tries to put the sections together but he lacks the strength and co-ordination. Our oldest is happy to let us do the work for her while she directs (management material no doubt!) the construction. We don't mind as the actual building is quite fun once you get the hang of putting the post into the blocks- if you liked playing with legos when you were little you'll probably have a blast putting together forts for your little ones.So far we've built and taken down at least 4 forts. Without a "roof" the cubes are small enough to see over when placed between our sofa and the wall mounted TV so it allows the kids to play in eye sight and we adults can relax a bit. (side note: there have been less objections to my love of home improvement programs from the 5 and under crowd so that is also a win!)I'm looking forward to using this kit in the summer to make a wind tent like I used to when I was little. I'm thinking this kit is also strong enough it could be used outside if you were to stain the blocks to avoid water damage and ensure it wasn't windy. All around this is a really solidly built kit to really let your imagination go crazy!*when my SIL first saw the kit she mentioned they already had something similar to this and didn't seem interested in taking it home. Well their kit ended up being taken home by another family member and I got a text after asking where it had been stored as my nephew had really loved this particular set!

Nearly impossible for kids to put together
The poles are nearly impossible to fit in the holes. The children (9,8 and 5) can't do it themselves. So so disappointed with this $ christmas gift.

So glad I made this choice!
This is the neatest toy for my grandkids!!! They love to play with it and its great to see their creativity come alive! They play with it for hours and never run out of ideas. Its really easy for them to create and build and feel successful with this product. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, craftsmanship and durability of this toy. Great plus that it came with a huge storage bag for all the parts and accessories. I recommend this toy to people who really want to treat their kids to something unique and fun and educational. You get all three with this product and it seems built to last!

Great Fort Kit!!
my son loved this fort!! He wants more pieces to build it even bigger! This kit is big enough to fit at least 3 11yr old boys, they slept in it with a big dog and could not see them. Really fun to assemble, kids need no help! Sturdy, well made pieces! I recommend, worth the price and better than competitors!

Well worth the investment!
If you’re looking for a fort that will last this is it. There are enough poles to make a very large fort with longer poles for standing room. The poles are very durable but if they do break they’re guaranteed. I purchased one for my grandson 6 years ago and just contacted the company yesterday about a broken pole. I was notified today that it’s being shipped out. It’s going to my third grandchild in perfect condition. It requires adult strength to put it together but once it’s assembled it will not fall apart. Its pricy but the wooden blocks and poles are well worth the money. FYI, the fabric covering has to be purchased separately. I used a queen size sheet. It comes with a storage bag.
