Everything mechanically about this motor is great! I’ve put it through some harsh testing and it never gave out or broke! Just to tell you how strong this motor is, it takes up to 30 minutes at full throttle for the motor to start smoking! Now I know you don’t want your motor to smoke but your also not gonna be full throttling it for 30 minutes straight! I put this motor on a 110cc frame pit bike and fit perfectly! (2 modifications needed) top speed I got was 42mph (I weigh 200lbs). BUT there was one small issue that the motor came with a tiny (and I mean tiny) hole where I guess a seal broke (don’t know from shipping or manufacture) and it causes the bike to leak a drop of oil every minute. That’s the only downside I have of this engine but even with that issue it doesn’t harm the motor. You just need to fill up oil probably a month earlier than normal. 3 stars because oil isn’t cheap and that to some people would be enough to not buy this but it’s still a great engine and worth a buy if you know your way around small motors!

When you can’t even get an answer on how to wire the motor, it’s not worth it have a a paperweight. That’s what it amounts to. Can’t figure out how to wire the thing because they won’t tell you nothing about it. Tell me it was a black wire there’s no black wire in that motor. Where comes out by the gear is blue, so they don’t know what they’re talking about they don’t build a motor or something but I don’t want no more of it. I’ve been trying to get it figured out I have a man coming to pick it up today to see if he can figure out how to wire the stupid motor , but I wouldn’t buy it again for nothing matter fact I want my money back a refund please

Engine was professionally installed by mechanic. Followed all break-in instructions. Oil changed three times with less than 4 hours on it and no compression now. Seller will not warranty. It was installed on a golf cart used by two adults on paved roads in a neighborhood, so it was not abused. Buyer beware. I could have just gotten a bad engine. I understand that, but they should stand behind their product better than this. Not to mention the starter had to be replaced on first start up. It hung up on every crank. Swapped the starter from the original engine to fix this. Should have sent it back then. Terrible Amazon seller!!!

took some doing ... the chargeing system only worked for about a hour .. company took care of it

I like so far, I hope it can solve my problem. You sent me a kick shift part. My bike electric start. I use part(s) from my bike first engine. I change out engines this week coming, I hope the engine solve my problem. Can I send the old engine to you for repairs? Anyone that can help, please. Thanks.

Ordered this to replace the 125 cc engine that was original to my son’s Tao Tao ATK125 (looks like a Jeep front end). Packaged well, shipped quickly and was identical dimensions as the original. After installing it started 1st try and ran smooth. I bought the cart used and I do not think the original owner broke the engine in properly. It just never ran for any length of time and required almost constant valve adjustment. I just completed the break in on the new one and so far so good. Very happy with my purchase.Update 10/8/19Engine functioned perfectly for approximately 3 hours of intermittent use. My done just came to let me know it stopped running. I went out to the cart, checked the fuel (it was half tank). Turn the key and the engine sounds like something is broken inside it. The starter turns it over but the engine is doing nothing. I will contact the seller tomorrow to determine next steps. I will update this review accordingly.
