OSRAM LEDriving SL, ≜ W5W, White 6000K, Blister (2 lamps), LED Retrofit, offroad use only, H1 [Energy Class A]

I purchased these for a BMW X3 (e83), they replace the map lights in the overhead console.I was initially disappointed with the look in the daylight when fitted as the whiter light looks a bit unnoticeable.However once all the others were fitted, in the dark it looks very modern and lights the interior much better than the previous yellower bulbs whilst reducing the overall power consumption by about 80+percent.They are well priced and should last years, run cooler than the normal bulbs whilst using alot less power.They are compatible with the 2 map reading lights and are pretty easy to change, you just carefully prise out the overhead panel, then the bulb holders twist 90 degrees then you pull out the old bulb and insert the new. Slide the overhead unit back in and you’re done.

Never had problems with osrams! Put these in for my side lights definitely see the difference compared to a standard bulb, loads brighter and look great in the car. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for some cheap good quality bulbs that will last a long time.

Bright and good colour. Early days to tell if they'll flicker like most of the cheap overdriven car LED bulbs tend to.

Seems to be a high quality product but beware these are not CANBUS compatible, you’ll need to add a 5W resistor (also sold by OSRAM) and add it in series with this bulb for it to work correctly.

As title says, will start fine but turn off after 5 seconds and stay off in my 2007 Skoda Octavia, apparently meaning they are NOT canbus compatible.

Top quality product from Osram, as usual.I'm tried to use these as a replace it for my halogen NPL lights (number plate lights).Unfortunately the error detection system on my Corsa D does not allow these to work correctly. I'd need to use a loading resistor to get proper illumination. The LEDs flicker and are very dim.I can't be bothered to install loading resistors at the moment so I'm sticking with my halogens.I'm sure these would work fine as front position lights or interior lights.
