Access to the main pocket is through a strong double slide zip, which can be opened on 3 sides to about halfway down the length of the backpack. In the top, bottom and sides of this compartment there are fabric netting inserts for water drainage. Above the main compartment there is another good-sized pocket for mask. On the bottom compartment, there is another small pocket for documents or small accessories that is also zip-closed. On the side of the backpack there are two adjustable straps to hold the spear gun or other longer accessories. for transport, Fins Bag has 2 adjustable padded shoulder straps to carry it on your back.
