If using for the SPF, it needs applied every 2 hours. **Q: What is the difference between the coconut oil and the coconut butter lip balm?** A: I don’t know, but I do know this lip balm is WONDERFUL. I use it daily. It even tastes and smells heavenly. I’ve used SO many types and landed on this. Believe me when I say it’s the best. **Q: Does it melt in a hot car?** A: Probably. From coconut oil **Q: Is this lip balm basically eos lip balm but with coconut scent and different packaging?** A: I've never used EOS but this lip balm contains coconut oil, shea butter with vitamin E.
