I got these bags to use for the occasional trip to Aldi or Ikea, etc - places where bags aren't provided.First, I don't think these would necessarily be good for keeping in my purse for all my shopping, because they're somewhat bulky when I try to shove them back into their little attached bags for storage. For keeping in my car, though? Perfect. I included a picture of one of the bags as it was shipped to me, all nice and folded flat, and my best effort at getting it back in the bag.These are made of very thin material, but it actually seems to be sturdy. When I received them, I loaded one up with a bunch of heavy things to see how it would hold up to weight before I actually take it out somewhere and have it break on me - a stone trivet, a can of paint, a bottle of vegetable oil, etc. It was about 20 pounds. I shook and bounced it around, and inspected the seams - they seem fine. I see no evidence of weakness. I also used it for a shopping trip so far, and I had no problems there either, although I didn't buy terribly heavy things.So, I like that these are strong bags, I like that they're a pretty color (I got the gray, which is really more of a light blue), and I love that there are three included, because who uses just one bag ever??The produce bags: they don't fold up for storage like the main bags do. Also I'm not sure what exactly the purpose of them is. I personally won't be using these, but if you have a need for produce bags, I'm sure you'd like them. The mesh is made of a tight weave and seems strong. There's a tightenable latch to close the top, and it works as it should mostly. I was able to move it without holding the button down without using too much pressure, but I suppose it's not there to protect your veggies from burglers or anything - just keep them from rolling around in the car, which it will.I received this product for free or at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

I love the modern dog pattern on these reusable shopping bags. The set includes 3 nylon reusable bags and 2 mesh produce bags.This set would be a great starter set for someone new to using reusable bags. Each of the bags is made of thick nylon fabric and are very large. I could easily fit two regular grocery bags of food into one of these reusable bags. I myself love using reusable bags. Not only are they sturdier than the plastic ones but they are also environmentally friendly.The reusable bags are well made and the fabric is thicker than some. The nylon bags measure roughly 15.5" tall by 15" wide with handles that are about 9" long and are wide. The bags are self-enclosed in a little pocket and are unfolded to reveal the large bag. The little self-enclosed pocket then becomes a nice interior pocket. When folded down into their attached pocket, they measure about 5" x 5". I love that they are self-enclosed inside such a small little package. It makes them the perfect size for throwing into your purse or in the glove box of your car so you never forget them.The mesh bags are made of a thick, durable mesh. Each measure roughly 14" tall by 12" wide. The bags also have a drawstring to keep them closed so your produce doesn't spill out. The bags can also be used for other purposes too. I can see myself using them for traveling and storing shoes, undergarments, and whatnot.The stitching along the bags seems to be okay but I would have preferred thicker stitching along the edges and is the only reason why the bags received 4 out of 5 stars. The bags do have a lifetime guarantee which is nice.Overall, I would definitely recommend these bags to a friend or family member.I received a discount in order to test the product. I got grey bags. They look pretty much like on the pictures here and are what I expected, and even better. Folded bags are taking only 5'' x 4.5'' x 1/4'' space. They are very easy to unfold when you need one and to fold back to its original pouch for storage. They are very lightweight. One bag weights only 1.3 oz, its featherlight. Bag is roomy when unfolded and can be worn on the arm for easy carrying. The straps are not too long, I can wear it now, since its summer and I am wearing tank tops, but they would definitely not work over any additional clothing or jackets. I would prefer, if the handles were longer. When unfolded, the storing pouch converts into a interior pocket of the bag, thats a great invention.These bags are very slightly see-through. You can see contours through them, but cannot really tell what is inside. They are made of nylon, so they are easy to clean of. White, mesh bags are also of a very good quality, but they take a little more space than nylon bags. They are made of a good grade of mesh and appear strong and durable. This set is very convenient and thoughtful. Grey bags straps are 10'' long, would be better if they were 12'', I could slide them through my arm easier and one handed. These bags remind me of foldable, lightweight backpacks with the ease of use.Cons:- Shoulder straps not too long, possible to wear only in the summer when you do not have too much clothing on you.Sample sent for a fair evaluation.
