In use 16 months , holds calibration very well . Unit must be on rock solid bench , like any scale, or you invite problems . Accuracy is spot on , against my beam scale. But amazingly faster.

I bought this as an upgrade from my super cheap Frankford Arsenal scale. This scale is plugged into the wall which is my favorite reason for buying it. You can't warm up a battery powered scale, ya know! Calibration weights store right in the unit so you don't misplace them (as I did with my Frankford one). The only issue I have is that the scale drifts after calibration. I left it on for a week and it drifted up by 11 grains. Now who would use a scale continuously for a week without re-calibration? Nobody. But I wanted to see how it behaved. Compared to my Frankford Arsenal scale, it does seem to drift less. And it always drifted up in reading which means if not recalibrated, my charge weight will be lower. Which usually means safer (especially for rifle loads) but could get dangerously low on handguns, so make sure you check calibration, oh, hourly, when loading with this (or any digital) scale.

I bought this gift for my husband, and he loves it. It's challenging to find presents for someone who knows exactly what he wants.

Compact, accurate and reliable. The design is very simple and user-friendly. This is an outstanding product. It is on the expensive side, but considering its intended purpose, worth every penny.

The scale worked well in the beginning. However, the screen started to fade and now you can hardly see any of the readings. It is almost unusable now as you can't trust what the screen is displaying. It's just an expensive paper weight now.

Need to warm up at least 5 to 15 minutes

I like the size of the scale and its functionality. I do wish it was designed with 2 places after the decimal point however I can live with one place. I fell having 2 calibration weights to calibrate the unit each time gives me confidence in the charge weights I'm using. Although the unit was packaged well I found the stainless steel platen bent on one corner. Since the platen was packaged along with the charger I suspect the unit was tossed around during shipping and became bent. I was able to bend it back close to 80% so it does work.
