Adams Classic Optimum Cap

I was expecting a long visor as shown in the picture but the cap has a normal size visor. I only rated it a 4 for that reason. I am keeping the hat because it is a great hat for normal wear. But if you think it has a large bill, forget it.

This is a great hat in terms of construction, fit, material, and comfort. My only gripe with it isn't exactly a gripe, it's just that what I took to be merely artifacts of lighting in the photo here are in fact the white-ish areas that come as part of a weathered-look fabric sort of like denim jeans. My eye and brain thought it was a normal, un-weathered fabric and that the lighting in the photo was the cause of it looking the way it did, sort of a reflection/sheen/fade. Looks like another reviewer here had the same issue with the hot pink as I did with this I will probably return it but it's a shame because it fits great, sits great, and feels great. Just know that what you're looking at in the photo is in fact accurate colorwise. Don't trust your dumb brain and its corrections. Maybe I'll keep it and try dyeing it. I hate to give up a great-fitting hat in my neverending search for hats that fit my huge head.

I purchased a hat from Tumbleweed TexStyles with one of their designs embroidered on it. I loved the way the hat fit so much that I ordered this plain one I could wear to work everyday. It fits better than any hat I’ve ever purchased. My other favorite is the ‘47 hat and this fits very similarly to that one. I like that it’s unstructured and I can fit my ponytail through the back. Plus, like any great hat, it gets better with time!

The leather(ish?) strap on the back has an embossed logo "ADAMS" in an oddly 70's sort of logo/font. And the brass buckle/clasp has an image of the Eiffel tower embossed on it. That's kind of weird. These bother me, as I was certainly hoping for a cap completely free of branding and graphics. But they're not too bad and don't keep from wearing the cap. Structurally, the build quality is excellent, the fit is comfortable and widely adjustable (I have a large head, wear XL in most brands of motorcycle helmet). I do wish the bill didn't narrow down quite so much toward the front, as this serves only to reduce it's ability to shade the sun from my eyes. Still... I can't really find anything else better and I'll probably order another one in a different color.

I was looking for a good old fashioned ball cap that looked great and fit great too, I didn't want a snap back or a hat with a completely flat bill because I'm not some gang banger either. So I found this hat and I saw lots of positive reviews and thought of buying it and did because of my hat being $6 (prices differ). Well the hat fits great and looks good too, and the color looks good also. I saw some of the hats colors and they looked off from the photos. My hat was the stone color and looked exactly like the picture. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and might buy some more in the future.Btw: I took pictures in my bathroom because it was the only place in my house with enough light.

Well made. Lasts a long time. My 2nd one.

I wish the description was more clear because the lp101 hat is great but the lp102 hat is awful.
