This was such a great purchase for my husband’s motorcycle. He uses it every day for his bike.. I would recommend this for whoever owns a motorcycle..

Seems to work great! Had it on my generator battery all winter and it kept the battery charged.

I now have three of these on my vehicles here at home. 2012 Colorado, 2013 Camaro, and my 2024 Jeep. I work from home so everything sits a lot. I have the charger bolted in on the 2012 and 2013. I just clip it on the Jeep, which gets driven a lot every weekend. These chargers do great! I have an update to this review. One of the chargers failed, I had it set up permanently under hood of my 2012 Colorado. I am going to presume it failed because of under hood temps. So I have ordered another, and from now on I'll remove it from the truck. This vehicle is driven every few weeks and sits in the driveway.

Bought this to keep a charge on a car I seldom use. I installed it (easy process) and it charged the dead battery within a day. Used the ring ended connector since it was going to be dedicated to just that car. Rings are big enough to fit bolts clamping the battery terminals. Lead was long enough I could probably mount the charger underhood. I also like that the alligator leads are insulated to end of clamp. Gonna buy another one for my lawn tractor. If I had one complaint, it would be that the indicator LEDs are dim and the only indication is power on and battery dead or charged. No reverse polarity indication or battery not saveable by flashing one or both LEDs.

I'm a senior citizen and don't drive very far, so my battery wouldn't hold a charge. An AAA worker suggested I buy a battery maintainer, which I did. After it was installed, it has given me peace of mind. It's so easy to use. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't drive their car often or far.

Great trickle/float charger especially for the price. I recently bought a used motorcycle since I haven't ridden for about 6 years and hence no longer have a battery tender for one. Install was easy just like my previous ones and quality is on par if not better than my old one. I'm not sure why the cord length has had some negative reviews as this is the same length as my prior ones. The piece that attaches to the battery is long enough to sit outside the seat and easily be tucked back under when not in use. The cord from the charger is about 3 or 4 ft , same as my old one,which maybe people are talking about but personally,I've always had an outlet next to my bike so I never had any issues. If you don't have an outlet within that distance then yes ,you will need an extension cord. It also includes a quick connect cord with alligator clips so you can use it for stand alone batteries or just a battery without being hard wired.Although I use these for a motorcycle , they work for any 12v battery that you may have such as a generator,riding mower,etc. I'm very happy with the quality of this tender especially at this price. I don't forsee any issues with it at all. Definitely recommend especially If you live an area with winter and your bike will not be ridden for awhile, or even if you ride occasionally,these really do help with the maintenance on your battery. 100% recommended .

Bought this when I noticed my truck's starter seemed to start struggling to start the engine, and signs were pointing to a low battery (headlights dimmed slightly when operating power windows). I have a 3rd Gen Tacoma and rarely drive it, and during covid the battery died so I replaced it. I don't drive it enough to keep it charged up that way so wanted to get ahead of having to buy another $200 emergency battery replacement. I got this on a Thursday night, put it on, and the red LED was red all the way through Sunday morning when it finally flipped over to green. First start after this and the starter is noticeably higher in pitch when starting, so I say that's a success. I have a riding lawn mower and electric start portable generator, so I've move this on to top up those batteries. So far, so good and the price point is right on with what I want it for. Just keep in mind this is a battery maintainer and NOT a full fledged battery charger. I was getting worried after 2 solid days the LED was still red, but I guess my battery (a Diehard 24f-6 with 875 Cranking amps), really was down a bit and it took that long at 1.5 amps to bring it up. Keep that in mind if you get one that it'll probably take a few days to do it's thing. Like other's have noted, the permanent lead to attach to the battery is quite short, so it's not suited for a car/truck. I put mine on my lawn mower, and my generator battery already has the same type of connector where I can plug it directly in. There's options to buy longer permanent connect leads, and I probably will do that so I don't have to keep my hood up on my truck and use the clips to keep it topped up.
