I then, not thinking, cut into the dough mixer at the bottom of the pan. I contacted the company and asked it was safe to use. They offered to replace, refund or give me back the money for a new mixer part. The customer service was amazing and very helpful. I wound up exchanging it and am so glad I did. The bread is so soft and full of flavor.
