Remove the washer on the front binding post (coil side) and replace it with the contact post of this light. You can bend the light to stay in place but it will only straighten once your machine runs. I took a tattoo needle post (clipped off the needle) and bent open the eye and created an eye on the other end with needle nose pliers. I bent the light into position and used the post to bridge the bend in the light stem and crimped both ends in place. This adds stability to the light and prevents it from bending out of position. So, once you spend 10 minutes creating this brace...the light works great and worth the money.

I may have gotten a bad batch or these might just be cheaply made or it could have been operator error but I couldnt get any of them to work on my machine. The other issue is that there is no instruction manual for how to properly mount these on the machine. I kinda figured it out (or didn't) myself. I had high hopes for this item simply because lighting is so important in giving a detailed tattoo. I don't recommend this product.

don't buy they move when you run your machine. They SUCK!!!
